Post Need Super Famicom Game Suggestions

I'm hosting an event on the 30th and would love some opinions on quality Super Famicom games. Preferably (but not necessarily) multi-player. Preferably exclusive to Super Famicom but definitely exclusive to Japan. Light on the Japanese, though... only a few among us in attendance know just a little of the language.

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

Beat em ups. Ghost Chaser Dansei, Kamen Rider, Undercover Cops, etc....

Space Shooters. Theres like 45000 released exclusively in Japan, my favorite being the Parodius (obviously) series.

I've never tried the Cho Aniki 2 player fighting game on Super Famicom - Cho Aniki Bakuretsu Rantouden ... but come on, it's Cho Aniki, it's gonna be fun at the very least to look at.

    Off the top of my head, multi-player, Super Famicom exclusive, Japan only...? I'm excluding Satellaview exclusives from this for the time being, btw;

    1) Super Famicom Wars
    2) Anime-based fighters: Gundam Wing: Endless Duel. (Or G Gundam, but the former is the better game) A DBZ fighting game .(Hyper Dimension is probably prefered.) I'm also recalling having played a YuYu Hakusho fighter once before although I don't remember how much quality it had.
    3) Still thinking anime games; Sailor Moon games. IIRC the initial releases were beat-em-ups, and there's a few fighters and puzzle games as well. Can't remember too well, though.
    4) Super Bomberman 4 or 5
    5) Kirby no Kirakira Kizzu
    6) Wrecking Crew 98
    7) Panel De Pon... ah, lots of puzzle games here.
    8) Ok, one more. Tetris Battle Gaiden. If you need one more after that, go with Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu Remix.

How about Jaki Crush? It's multiplayer maxes out at 2 players but everyone loves a good high score competition. Plus, it's the classiest video pinball in SNES/SFC land.

Yeah, Cho Aniki is worth a laugh, great for a gathering. It's not that fun, though, so don't expect to play it for that long.

    Some others:

Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie (great horizontal shmup)
Goemon 2 and 4 (although you might not want to deal with the towns)
    Pop'n TwinBee (excellent vertical shmup)
TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventure (fast, fun platformer)

    DoReMi Fantasy Milon's Adventure

I really don't know much about the SFC. Steven had a quality thread here years ago with his thoughts and opinions on various SFC games.

edit: You're looking for multi-player games, ignore my post. Heh.

Super Famicom has mounds of puzzle games or anime-based fighters as said above.

Super Tetris 2, Super Tetris 3, and Super Bombliss are all 99% english in-game.

The SFC port Columns oddly got doesn't count. That was like a Nintendo Power download or whatever, not released on cartridge.
    Lum fan.

Most of my other suggestions were already mentioned, so I'm just going to say Godzilla: Kaiju Daikessen.

I've examined over 60 SFC games, largely SFC exclusive, largely no JP knowledge required.

    4 player SFC games
    -----
-Battle Cross (5 players, up to 6 total with 1 CPU opponent)
-Bakuto! Dochers (I don't like it but throwing it out there anyway)
-BS Out of Bounds Golf (unreleased, TERRIFIC 4 player modes)
-Otoboke Ninja Colosseum (unique spin on Bomberman formula)
-Panic Bomber (4-player Bomberman puzzle game!)
    -Puzzle'N Desu! (very cool -- a must-try with 3 other friends!)
-Spark World (blatant but competent Bomberman clone)
-Super Bomberman 3, 4, 5 (up to 5 players each)
-Super Tekkyu Fight! (another unique twist on BM formula)
-Zen Nippon Pro Wrestling Budokan (best wrestling game on SNES, period. The 4 player battle royal is SICK fun)

Again, all of these games can be seen and read more in-depth about here:

    http://www.rvgfanatic.com/6501/index.html

plus loads of great 2 player games too

Top L to R: Godzilla Kaiju Daikessen, King of Demons, Battle Cross, Otoboke Ninja Coloseum, Mickey & Donald 3 (sequel to Magical Quest/Great Circus Mystery), SD F-1, Rendering Ranger: R2

RVGFANATIC: SNES, Saturn, mad ramblings and more

Thanks Steven! I've seen your recommendations before years ago but couldn't find them here. Now that I need them... well, you know how it goes.

Much obliged. And to everyone else who chimed in. Gathering games for the event based on your suggestions.

Gundam W: Endless Duel is a really good fighting game.

The Parodius games are also quite awesome.
