Wasn't there one more game? I seem to remember a LoZ for 3DO, cause I have it- in a box, with the rest of it, but still- Scepter or Wand or something of Something. It was fun- wasn't a Real LoZ game but they had the license from Nintendo to make it. Anyone remember?

The game is called 'Zelda: The wand of Gamelon'. But it's a CD-i game, not 3DO.

I've never played a 3d0, but one of my favorite games of all time is Killing Time... great game. Wish I had it now!

I actually loved Total Eclipse, but for some reason I think everyone else hated it.

I only played three 3DO discs. One of my childhood friends got a 3DO, but while they were willing to shell out for the system, they couldn't spend the extra couple dollars for a few games.

I played the sampler disc that came with the system (the highlight of which is a Road Rash demo), Gex, and Station Invasion.

Gex was awesome, but Station Invasion was fun, too. I guess you could call it an FMV game, but it didn't rely on timed button presses or action or anything like that. It was about a bunch of kids running a TV station. You play one of several types of tv shows, and do mini-games and stuff to boost ratings. If you do well enough, you get recognized by the "Umpteenth Annual TV Awards" at the end of the season. It was cute.

Although I don't know if I'll find the same joy out of such a game as I did when I was 10.

I second Quarterback Attack, which was also great on the Sega Saturn. FIFA, Gex and Blade Force are also classics.

Somebody else mentioned Total Eclipse, which is certainly worth playing. Personally, I thought the version of Myst was pretty good. So was Madden and Psychic Detective.

Default Quite a large number of releases...

considering 3do was announcing in their annual report less than two years after launch that the system had failed. Having said that, my top games would have to include The Horde, Star Control, Zhadnost, Captain Quazar, Killing Time, all of the American Laser Games gun games, Shadoan, Road Rash, Braindead 13 and Psychic Detective.

I've noticed quite a polar effect of SS on the 3DO. Either people think:

    1) It's the greatest thing since sliced bread. That it's the only Neo-Geo game you like there is no reason to buy the "real thing."

    or

    2) It absolutely sucks and "What went wrong?"
    Robot, fight like a chicken!
