Have you guys considered not having it at a hotel? If not the convention center, perhaps a similar sort of space.

I think the reason they have it in the hotel is because they get the space for free/cheap if they fill the rooms. Not having it at a hotel would just raise the cost, which is always the bottom line.

And the CGE guys actually had an exhibit at E3 twice.... Before E3 'ended' for a couple of years, they had a vintage gaming display in one of the areas. All the old consoles hooked up and playable, I displayed a bunch of handhelds the second year, even had the old couch and TV setup... It was pretty cool.

Then they 'canceled' E3 (turned into a meeting-only event) which killed that. They've brought E3 back again to what it used to be... But as mentioned, E3 isn't technically a public event anyway. Was cool though.

Something like that would be a good call (plus I live pretty damn close to it, which is a bonus for me)

    Cool The Orleans

My hubby and I recently went to CES. We always stay at the Orleans because they give us free rooms during CES. Why don't you check out The Orleans for the Expo? Yes, they are off the strip but a very nice place and have nice banquet rooms to host?

Looking at the available space, they have beau coup square footage...
