Default Question on Mr. Gimmick on an NTSC NES

Hello all. I'm thinking about getting a copy of the PAL Mr. Gimmick but I noticed on a compatibility list that it played an NTSC system "with slight graphic issues." It didn't specify so I was wondering if anybody here had a copy they could try on their NES and let me know exactly what the graphic issues are. If they're minor I'll go ahead with my purchase but if they're major there's no use in paying the high price for it.

    Thanks in advance!!

No, no.. the top-loader NES is already universal, which is what I'm using. Most PAL games play perfectly only slightly sped up. Apparently, Mr. Gimmick has graphical issues while playing on an NTSC NES, which has nothing to do with the lockout chip.

Hmm.. if it's only the status bar I might dive into it. It's a great game.

Sure is I love the game! Even beaten it with the secret ending. Btw, how much are you gonna pay for it? Its pretty hard to get.
