When I was new, I had to get used to things too. Not once I had any beef with mods or administrators, because I realized how things worked by looking around the boards. Yeah, I had a few discussions here and there with forum members, but nothing serious and all ended well in the end. It's how you portray yourself on the boards that determines the treatment you get here on the boards.

And if I recall correctly, Berzerker DID try to help out, by stating how things worked and giving you some good advice. You even replied by thanking him, if I am not mistaken. So the mods aren't going against you on purpose.

This is why I recommend closing this topic and just take a look around for a few days. And if you do post something worthy and some members are right away giving you problems, then I would contact the moderators or administrators. But I doubt this will happen, because people are are indeed friendly.

And no, I'm not a cheerleader for the mods. I'm just using common sense.

you say people aren't out to get me when you have people like Enigmus who thinks he is threatening by using big text and captial letters. then people who post image macros who are generally the same users, i told him thanks for not being a douche nozzle also i havent made any topics for a while and the topics i did make i tried to get discussion out of them, and they were locked why? simply because i made them. i'm talking about the ascii topic. and this one even though this one isnt locked yet i have a feeling that it will be soon because it was derailed simply because i was the one to have made it.

Urzu, the reason your topics were closed is because of what happened before. By simply creating a new one now, no matter what it is, people will consider it as a joke.

This is why I suggest closing this topic and NOT creating a new one for quite some time. You can post in existing topics by giving good feedback about it, thus making others forget about what happened in the last few days.

But that's up to you.

I may have been around longer than you, but I still didn't go through this when I first joined or when I first made topics.

All of that said, I think I'm just about done with this thread.

If you think people are legitimately out to get you and that the mods hate you, then quit delaying the inevitable and leave of your own accord. If not, stick around and realize you need to start acting like everyone else here.

And by the way, if "not starting a thread for a while" means four hours, then I'd like to see what passes for "starting threads non-stop."

My advice to you is leave all the drama to yourself and don't treat this forum like it is your 2nd life. If someone insult you, just leave and come back when the flamewar is over. Don't treat forum is like it is part of your life. There are other stuff beside lurking around forum and replying to the post.

Again there nothing wrong with you posting several topic or even bumping old topic if there is a relevance to your post. As soon as you post something which relate to your previous topic, everyone will remember and start picking on you.
