RealSports BASEBALL

Highest possible score is 99.

· Base-stealing trick: Steal home when ball is pitched, and then switch controls and hit the ball.  {Mark Miller}

· BUG: Throwing to other players isn’t always accurate, and often you need to move the intended player to catch it.  If the ball gets past you, you’ll have to chase it down since you can’t switch control to another player.  This happens quite often to the computer opponent.  For example, if the computer strikes you out (and it’s not your 3rd out), the pitcher will usually throw to the 1st baseman. If he doesn’t miss it, chances are the pitcher will miss it when the 1st baseman throws it back.  When the pitcher gets it, he’ll run halfway back to the mound and then throw it to the catcher.  Your batter can’t take the field until the pitcher is on the mound with the ball, so you often end up wasting a lot of time waiting for the computer.  {Scott Stilphen}

· BUG: On games 1 and 2, when pitching, after striking a batter out, you can quickly sneak another pitch in before the next batter can get to the plate and it will count!  {Scott Stilphen}

· BUG: If the catcher makes the last out of the inning (by tagging home plate), he will remain on the screen and there won’t be any crowd noise during the changeover.  {Scott Stilphen}

· BUG: On games 3 and 4, if you bunt, the catcher will often throw to the 1st baseman instead of tagging you out. In most cases, the 1st baseman will catch the ball, but instead of tagging the base or keeping the ball, he’ll immediately throw it to the pitcher, which allows you to run the bases and score.  {Jason Mazzei}

· BUG: On games 3 and 4, when the computer strikes you out on your 3rd out, the catcher will throw the ball to deep center field.  It will stay there while the teams change sides, but when your team gets set, the ball will disappear and reappear with your catcher, who immediately throws it to the pitcher!  {Scott Stilphen}

· BUG: On game 4, hit to the shortstop or left fielder.  They’ll throw to the 1st baseman but he won’t tag you out.  Wait until the 1st baseman throws to the catcher, then run all the way around and score!  {Greg Bienema}

· FRYING: Hold the FIRE button and fry the game until a team appears on the field.  Release the button before the game starts.  With each press of RESET you’ll get a different color scheme.  Pressing the FIRE button will show a pitcher constantly trying to throw the ball. {Scott Stilphen}
