Description: Features the acting talents of Kirk Cameron and RoboCop's Mich'l Gregory. In a 1994 interview, The Horde's lead designer, Paul Reiche III, said that The Horde's FMV sequences were shot in just two days. The "Num num!" sound effect when the Juggernaut eats something was inspired by a sound sample inadvertently recorded by Reiche's young son when he was messing with his dad's equipment. During the game's beta-testing phase, a nasty crash bug was always preceded by the sound of Hordlings eating crops. It turned out that the Hordlings were "eating" the program code!
Landmark: On July 20, 1994, the 3DO Company awarded this game "Best Acting" for its 1994 3DO Developer Awards.
