Santulli Slant: This was a fairly complicated arcade game originally, with lots of buttons and a time limit for each quarter. These things, plus the fact that Dyer's laserdisc brilliance was no longer teamed up with animation legend Don Bluth and instead was paired with what appears to have been a 3rd grade artist, made for a quick end to "Thayer's Quest". The game is a little better on home systems but the animation is truly laughable. [Gr: 6, So: 8, Ga: 6, Ov: 7]
Periodical's review: The UK's "3DO Magazine" gave this game 2 stars (out of 5).
