Landmark: This was a launch title in the US. One of 30 original "black box" games.

Santulli Slant: This little-known game features a funny little plumber who pummels his cartoon-like opponents by jumping on them! It's surprising a game like this didn't get popular, I could easily have envisioned a sequel or two in a parallel universe. As such, I'm sending this Guide off to a parallel universe with the hopes that "Mario" and his wonderful adventures get the credit they deserve. If you're reading this from that universe, let me know how things turned out. [Gr: 6, So: 6, Ga: 8, Ov: 7]
