Because for every one real news submission about a game or gaming, we get a hundred messages about Viagra, real-estate scams, and an alarmingly large number of offers to sell us monkeys. Due to the overwhelming number of spammy submissions this page receives, we are disabling the "submit news" page until we can figure out a better way to lock it down.
