These two lads are outdoor sports fanatics who are particularly keen on competing with each other at cross country racing. Take care though, running over the rough alpine terrain can be hazardous, with pitfalls, rocks, rivers and wild animals to be avoided. The consumption of edibles along the way wins both Twinky and Reg extra points and more energy. At the end of the course, the winner will attain the affection of the ever vivacious darling Twinkie. May the best man win! LOADING COMMODORE 64 OWNERS: 1. Connect the cassette unit to you Commodore according to the User Manual. 2. Place the rewound cassette into the cassette unit, and press PLAY. 3. Press RUN/STOP and SHIT simultaneously on your Commodore. COMMODORE 128 OWNERS: 1. Switch OFF your Commodore 128, and switch it back on whilst holding down the COMMODORE key. 2. PLAYING THE GAME Twinky can be played by one or two players using joysticks. The aim of the game is to reach Twinkie before your opponent (the computer in the one player game). The course is over several sections, and includes many exhausting uphill jogs. Obstacles may be jumped by either pressing the fire button (small jump) or pushing the joystick forward (big jump). You may also accelerate forward by pressing the joystick to the right. You may select the level of skill of the computer opponent when selecting the OPTIONS, before starting a game.
