Go Go Home Monster You're the alien in the middle of the screen, and your objective is to find and assemble the 4 parts of your ship in the correct order. On the screen is a maze with 8 recessed areas - 4 of which contain the parts you need, and 4 of which contain unfriendly creatures. To search a recess, stand in front of one, push toward the opening, and press the fire button. If there's a part inside, a small blue block will appear in one of the 4 corners of the maze (and you'll turn blue); if not, a creature will appear, which will continuously pursue you. There are 4 different ship parts that you need, and they can only be picked up in the correct order (from left-to-right, and from small piece, to large pieces, to small piece). When you move over a part and press the fire button, a detailed picture of it will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen. If it's the correct part you need, the picture will remain on the screen and you’ll turn yellow. If you need more parts, you'll first have to go back to that same recess to turn yourself back to the original color before searching for another part. If you come into contact with a creature, you'll lose a life. When you’re not searching a recess, pressing the fire button drops a stun bomb (denoted by a small yellow block) that will momentarily freeze any creature that runs over it. You start the game with 3 and they only last for a second when used seconds (whether or not they're touched) but you can replenish your supply of them by touching the large container that occasionally appears in the center of the maze. Each one holds 3 bombs, and the most you can have in reserve is 9. Also, there are 4 areas in the maze where you can be stunned for a few seconds, so try to avoid those. One last thing to note is the timer in the bottom-left corner of the screen. The timer starts at 5,000 and runs down. If it hits 0 before you’ve assembled your ship, you’ll lose a life. Whenever you lose a life, either by touching a creature or running out of time, you’ll lose whatever pieces you were carrying. You start the game with 4 lives and there doesn’t appear to be a chance to earn more. When you finish a round, whatever the timer has left on it gets added to your score. This is the only way to earn points in the game. The speed of the creatures will increase with each successful round, so beware!
