I'm looking for info on a PSone specific controller...
It was formed to slide in to both contoller ports and fit the form of the unit. It also had a joystick on it I think..
Many thanks in advance..

Nothing coming to mind for me at the moment. Especially one that form fits the PlayStation. Was it created for the PSX or the PSOne?
Something that was meant to plug into both controllers would have to be an arcade stick of some kind, and I know that theres no liscensed stick that fits that description.
I see if I can cough up anything about it.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

it was for the PSOne and unliscensed..
The part where it connected tot he unit was curved to match up near perfectly with the console.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My local EB had one for about $12 bucks new and I didn't buy it - GAH!
I haven't been able to track down any info on the web about it and I haven't been to EB to see if they have it or more like it.
If I see it again I will buy it though!
I've got a worse story: I saw a sealed one of those at place with tons of old gaming accessory stock (Mendelson's Electronis I think) for $4.xx and didn't pick it up because I didn't see any use for it... back then... but I do know what the original poster is talking about. It was an Interact product (?) I think... well, I can tell you for sure that it was from a "popular" 3rd party that wasn't NykoOriginally Posted by evilmess

I can't recall who made it, but gamepro did review it and give the website of the people who made it
I don't have the issue, but it had FFX-2 on the cover. I believe it was in the Holiday Shoppers Guide

I will not bore you with the insane amount of research it took to find that damn thing (I held one in my hands once...) but it was designed by a company called "Game Elements" and can be found here:

whose brain hurts after researching that...
Jason, I'd like to go on record as saying:

much thanks...
You're welcome. Gotta live up to that "Biggest PSX Fan" badge somehow.
Good luck on finding one.

Actually I found one... The local EB games had 1 left for a mere $6.99...
I already have the PSOne and Screen, so all I really need is the rechargble Battery and the car power adapter and I'll have a pretty cool portable PSOne setup...
Time to start collecting PS games..
That is one FREAKY controller.

Wow, that's a really cool controller! Too bad that sure is a LOT of equipment to lugg around with you in order to have a portable PSone...Worth it though if you are a fan.
My problem is that a lot of the games on PSone that I want to replay have lots of text and it gets hard too read on that small screen. I mean, its not like playing Dungeon Explorer on the Turbo Grafx express but it can get annoying. Playing Silent Hill 1 on the portable unit while laying in bed with it on your chest is a little nutty.
