(mods - I posted this at the tail end of the current "weekend finds" thread but it's more appropriate here. Please delete the old one, sorry)

This one doesn't count as a find, per se, but the PS2 I found three weeks ago at Goodwill for $10 and was still under warranty has been returned from Sony today completely repaired and working. Mad props to Sony for honoring the warranty on this thing!

Weekly trade has also netted me a Dreamcast system. All hookups, one game and a couple of "extras" the nice fella on the other end said he was throwing in. Should be here soon...

    Meanwhile, back at Goodwill...

    Genesis - Road Rash 3, complete - $2.

Maganvox Odyssey2 System - $10 complete in the box with the following loose games:
    UFO!
    Alien Invaders Plus!
    Bowling!/Basketball!
    Pachinko!
    Showdown In 2100 AD!
    Invaders From Hyperspace!
    KC Munchkin!
    Blackjack!
    Sub Chase!/Armored Encounter!
    Speedway!/Spin Out!/Crypto-Logic!

Not bad! Good price! Some of these games are dupes but what the hell! Geez, Magnavox sure had a thing for exclamation points! Seems that way to me anyway!

So now I have two extra loose Odyssey2's: one with detachable sticks and one without (I forget which is the rarer of the two). I'll probably try to trade these along with the duplicate titles I got. PM if you're interested or wait the eventual post in the trade thread.

One more for the road !

When you say mega man 2 handheld, are you talking about the one made by TIGER in 1988? its like a miniature handheld with a pre-rendered screen? if so, what is the rarity and value of this thing? i have one, but i am not aware of its value...i also have one for sonic 2 and sonic 3...which i lost somewhere x_x and i have2 find them!

Believe it or not, I didn't focus on the find, but on why he holds swap meets in the swamp. I mean, don't the games get wet...?

HAHA. I can beat that. Last night I was at BJ's and when I went to put my cart away I noticed that someone had left a brand new Two Towers DVD in their cart. Yoink. FREE, baby. It's up for trade if anyone wants it.

Fully paid off Final Fantasy Tactics 2 for GBA. $37.00 (and some odd change).

Put $25.00 down on Everquest 2 for PC.

    Used XBOX controller $10.00

I am happy with my "finds".

Half Price day at a local thrift...all SNES games below were marked $4.00, got 'em for $2.00 each. All loose, but all had the plastic cart end cover as well!
    In no particular order:

    ActRaiser
    Blackthorne
    Jungle Strike
    Gradius III
    Earthbound
    Castlevania IV
    Axelay
    Super Star Wars
    Donkey Kong Country
    Mega Man X
    Zelda: Link to the Past
    Super Mario World
    Super Metroid

Gradius III & Axelay are on my first to try list...will be distributing the cart covers to some more deserving games in my collection.

Went to Circuit City to buy Soul Calibur 2 and they said weren't getting it until Friday, so...

    Street Hoops (GC) - $10
    Pinball e-reader cards - .99
    Donkey Kong Jr. e-reader cards - .99
    Excitebike e-reader cards - .99

And I bought Worms Blast and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (GC) @ KB Toys - $15 each.

Soul Calibur 2 will have to wait...
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

Let's see, I've been acquiring rare (expensive) stuff lately.
Recieved in the mail today: Alex Kidd in Shinobi World (US VERSION, NEAR MINT) $45 shipped ( a little spendy, but it's the going price these days)

And just payed a collector 30 GBP (about $48) for SMS Masters of Combat, (one of the top 5 Euro SMS rares), and Sonic Chaos (which is fairly common, but EVERYONE on ebay seems to want one, which drives up the price)
