Default Sweet Atari 2600-esqu trip to the Underworld!

    Underworld Trip

I love the hell (hahaha) out of this short little flash game. Check it out, and enjoy roaming (going left to right) around the different layers of Atari 2600 Hell. As far as neo-retro games are concerned, this and games like Bit Trip Runner delight my heart to no end.

Hope you make it through to the other side in one piece.

*not really a spoiler* You get better endings depending on how many lives you lose or don't lose.

Very nice. I love games like this. The ones that take modern tech (particles etc) and make old style games. The abstraction of lo res pixelly games always does way more for my imagination than any super hi def mega model games out there.

I like this almost as much as Star Guard. Thanks for the link.

I'm with you on that one. I really dig the way the corners look darker like they do on older TVs. Awesome stuff that really sets the mood.

You are more than welcome for the link, Pedro!

The url changed for this flash game, so I updated the link for both posterity and anyone right now who has not experienced this sweet neo-retro platformer set in the Japanese afterlife.

Seriously. This game is a splendid little flash gem hidden in the Far East recesses of the internet. Play it.
