In 1992, I interviewed Garry Kitchen, the programmer of the Atari 2600 DONKEY KONG, KEYSTONE KAPERS (by Activision), etc.
I never published it, but here it is.
I also compiled a list of his "softwareology"
Some "nuggets" about an alternate Keystone Kapers are also included.
I have also included a nice 1992 picture and press releases that his public relations assistant sent me "back in the day."
Also Includes some pictures from 2007 when Garry and his brother Dan visited the Digital Press store.
(Hey, now I want an autographed DONKEY KONG and an autographed KEYSTONE KAPERS!)
And I figured I may as well do a little marketing -
there's an ad for my game MEAN SANTA
and I also designed a full page ad for Scott Stilphen's project at the end:
"Don’t wait! Get these six “new” Video Soft
Atari 2600 videogames before they sell out!"
