Right here. The Wii Remote has been and is continuing to ruin Nintendo games for me.

I'm warning NINTENDO NOW. Leave waggle in this generation. The Master says so. Or have the option. Forced waggle is like fishing without a hook.

In other words, you're starving longtime fans to death.

Why do you have to use the Wii mote? Just use a controller.

You can count me as a huge huge fan of RE4 who absolutely preferred using the classic control scheme.

And I did try to use the Wiimote scheme. Halfway through the game the novelty wore off and my arm was way too tired to go the distance.

Wow, forty seconds of nondescript people sitting around a conference table talking. This is a new low for trailers.

Doesn't impress. I think "meh" is a good response.

Doesn't look like a remake to me, just looks like they are reusing the title. Looks like new gameplay / level designs...

    No. not new level designs.

Go back and play the original - all of those scenes were instantly recognisable right down to the seewping path the camera takes on the first level that was shown on trailer right after the golen eye logo. the toilet scene, bungee jump, stack, snow level - even buildings are in same locations and paint schemes are even the same, everything identical except for improved graphics and some extra details like parked vehicles etc.

It's too early to say of course, but this game excites me greatly!

out of interest jonebone - what makes you think it's got new level designs? and more shocking - what on earth made you think the gameplay is different based on that trailer????? even the weapons are the same!!!!!

I can't wait for Microsoft to announce their version. Stay tuned.

If they include all of the movie versions of James Bond, I'm in.

Also, that trailer was pretty epic at parts, and not those damn conference table parts.

Not gonna happen, and if they do it won't be like the original.

Impossible, unless it's at least a partial remake. The original is too highly regarded for nostalgia reasons alone to be surpassed, even if a new version is indeed better.

No it's not impossible. Perfect Dark on the 360 was much better than the N64 version, partly due to achievements and online multiplayer. Anyway, don't expect any announcements before the Wii version gets released this fall. And it might even fall thru before that time. Thats why I said stay tuned.

I hear ya. I'm not saying it won't be better, but some of us are just stubborn, and no matter what, will look at the N64 version as superior. Look at it this was, was Goldeneye as multiplayer really better than Call of Duty: MW2 multiplayer? Many still say yes, and it may be for nostalgic reasons.

So are you saying you don't think the Wii version will live up to the N64 version? I think the fact that you can use the classic controller(if Nintendo allows that) will give it atleast that advantage over the original. I love some of the N64 classics but I always hated that controller.

I didn't say I feel like that, just that some people are set in their ways that the N64 can't be beat. Honestly, I am quite excited about the Wii version. I hope it's more of a remake with online abilities than a new version.

Daniel Craig = FAIL!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I like Craig, but that was Pierce Brosnan's movie! Mr. Craig should have refused to provide his likeness.

Right up there with the Wii version of Ghostbusters, the joke that was Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, Wii games off classic movie franchises.......

PS: The regularly schedule Bond game (360/PS3/Wii) by Activision is on hold. Activision needed the developers to work on the next Call of Duty, as I posted the other day.

This isn't going to be like Perfect Dark on the 360. It's not an HD makeover of the N64 classic and I doubt we'll be seeing anything coming to the 360, especially the original game.

Umm GE is my favorite game all time, N64 is my favorite system all time and I used to speed run GE and PD at the-elite.net so I don't need to replay the original to know there is already new content added.

When do you hop into a truck and ride around? When do you blow up a boat in the dam level? I'm sure there were a million other subtle things that flashed across the screen but it was too quick.

Yes the levels are BASED on the originals but they are obviously tweaked and changed. This is NOT like Perfect Dark on XBL Arcade which is an exact 1:1 remake. The Bond name has constantly been butchered since Goldeneye with everyone trying to cash in, that's why most of us GE veterans are still pessimistic.
