Default Great Games that are Semi-Hard to Find

I picked up a copy of REZ (PS2) the other day at Movie Trading Company and am enjoying it thoroughly. I love the look of it, and the difficulty progression is pretty smooth. Plus, it's fairly original. I wouldn't want that style of shooting (press down button to lock on, let go to shoot) in all my games, but it works in this case.

That got me to thinking about how many great, semi-hard-to-find games there are for various consoles:

Odyssey2: Killer Bees! (intense, highly original game), Turtles! (excellent port)
Atari 5200: Mega Mania (better graphics than 2600 version), Bounty Bob Strikes Back (25 levels of greatness)
Saturn: Shinobi Legions (nice upgrade on classic series)
Intellivision: Diner (Intellivision exclusive sequel to BurgerTime)

I could think of numerous others, but I'd like to hear some of your (ya'll's, you guyses?) picks.

PS1 - Intelligent Cube and Team Buddies

Xbox - Metal Wolf Chaos (JPN import)

Saturn - Radiant Silvergun (and other shmups)

    Gamecube - Ikaruga

    Atari 2600 - H.e.r.o.

Many others, but these come to mind immediately.

Here's the first ones that come to mind...
    SMS: Montezuma's Revenge
    Lynx: Lemmings
    PS1: Intelligent Qube

Though 2 of those are easy to find on other platforms and I think the Intelligent Qube demo disk might be pretty common.

Sega CD - Popful Mail (Great action RPG that gets overlooked due to its rarity and somewhat high price)

Saturn - Burning Rangers (One of my all time favorite games, definitely worth the price that it goes for)

Nintendo Gamecube - Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

The first thing I thought of was EVO: The Search For Eden (SNES). Pretty unique game and next to impossible to find a copy "in the wild."

How about stop wasting your time making rude comments on message boards.

I'm curious. Why do you blog about going to the bathroom? Weird.

A few months after Ikaruga came out, FRYES had a huge stack of them for $14.95 each. I remember thinking that I should by extras to sell later (it seemed like a game that would be a cult classic--great game, weird title, etc.), but I didn't, unfortunately.

Nice try dude. Do you know how many people have tried to "insult" me by making fun of something I do on my own volition? You know, the one if I was embarrassed by, I wouldn't do in the first place? Christ, you people need to go to troll school, I swear.

Anyway, you're worth the time to bug because if you simply took half a second to look through classic discussions, you'd find this thread:

    You can't even research well.

I'm not insulting anyone. I just think it's weird and wonder why anyone would do such a thing. Freud would have a field day.

Thanks for pointing out that other thread. When I posed the question about great games that are hard to find, it wasn't research--that topic simply occurred to me while playing REZ, and I was curious what other hard-to-find games people enjoy. However, I have asked research-related questions on these boards before and have gotten valuable information. If that bothers you, I'm not sure why.

Trying being nice--even to strangers who write books--and you'll find that life is much better that way.

To someone who considers shit holy, I guess you would like it (not that the blog is shit--but that the blog is about shit).

If this means you're going to add "And finally, to portnoyd, the insane fecalfeliac who told me to eat dick on Digital Press, this is a big fuck off to you", then please indulge me.

Uh... yeah, ok. His blog is a fantastic read because the voice is hilarious, doesn't matter if he was writing about shit or about flat tires.

To each his own, I suppose.

Aaaaaand the thread has gotten off topic.
My favorite semi-uncommon game, for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, would be Atomic Robo Kid. It's surprisingly fun.
My favorite outright RARE game is Ranger X.
