One thing I'm a little confused about is are you counting the Gameboy Color/Gameboy B&W games in this category too? I've always been a little confused as to whether include games like Wario Land 2 and Pokemon Gold and Silver in the Gameboy category or Gameboy Color.

No pics? I was told there would be pics?

Anyway, check NA for their list of GB games, I have no idea how many were released. You're missing at least one that I could see from your list: King James Bible (Wisdom Tree).

Pretty impressive. Personally I think that collecting GB is very easy... IF you are going specifically for loose. If you try for CIB it's possibly the hardest one to complete (besides the 2600). Really nice on the CIB F-1 Pole Position. Definitely the most impressive in your collection.

Do you just stack them, or do you have your loose carts displayed somehow?

Also, this is just your grey, black, and yellow carts, right? Nothing clear, which can only be played on GBC and GBA?

So, does posting your list on a message board somehow make it easier to remember, or is it just a habit of yours to make threads that you know some people don't like?

If you just want some place online to post notes to yourself, may I suggest http://pad.helicoid.net ?

I reckon if it's playable on the B&W Game Boy, it ought to qualify.

Pics would have made the thread much more interesting to check out, so it's a meh for me. Congratulations anyhow. I wish I had bought the 100+ empty game boy boxes that a store closing down years ago had....sigh....

You want pictures....I give you pictures.....

I couldn't find my camera last night and i was barely awake. So yeah everything that is listed here in the pic is what I have minus a few things I have more CIB games then I posted i just copied and pasted the list from my documents. I have know i have bubsy CIB and a few others that arnt show but the bulk majority of the collection is here in these pics.

Also have a bunch of doubles that I dont want if anyone needs them. Let me know. I've got

Tiny toons
Tiny toons wacky sports
Fish dude
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Mr. Chins gourmet paradise
Mega man 2
Mega man 3
Toy story
Top gun guts and glory
Adventure island (2 copies one with box)
Mulan
Double Dragon
Double Dragon 2
Barbie Game Girl
Ninja turtles 2
Ms. Pac-man
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat 2
Bart vs the Juggernauts
Tail Gator (sticker damage will have a copy with no damage soon.)
Kirbys pinball land

I just won some eBay auctions last night for Pac in time yogis gold rush tail gator and mega lit all with boxes. I am attempting to get the boxes but as everyone know that is a seriously difficult task I am very fortunate to get the new boxes i just listed Ive been wanting them for some time. The only games I lost was Alfred chicken and tmnt 3 i couldn't believe Alfred chicken went for the price it did. Anyway now there are pics so please by all means let me know what you think.

Yes Jorpho it makes it so much easier to remember by doing it this way thank you so much for pointing that out to everyone it means a lot.......Pezcore343 As for the black and clear carts of the game boy color Ive left those out of this list as I'm trying to focus on the gray carts first though picking up the others if they are really rare of at a good price when I see them. I know to some it might be a unorganized way of doing things but it works for me. BetaWolf47 I keep them in some storage tubs for the moment I haven't set up a display for them yet as I'm not really sure how I wanna do it. Enjoy the pics.

I think those should count, cuz they were still within the original Game Boy's lifespan (i.e. they were playable on it). It's not like they're GBC only games (clear green, different shape carts).

Also, Wario Land 2 was released as an original Game Boy game (grey cart) first.

Edit: Holy shit @ those pics^^^

Well that's a relief to hear. I got Kid Dracula for 15 bucks at a store in Austin compared to what Ive seen on eBay I'm happy with that.

I do have the grey Wario land 2 I went after that one first.

I'm wanting to build a stand for the store display but haven't gotten to it yet.

Very nice collection. Jealously want that Gameboy Kiosk though. You should PM GrandAmChandler. Here's working on a complete CIB Gameboy and Gameboy Color collection himself and can be a big help.

What kind of "opinions" are you looking for anyways? For recommendations, all I can think of are some import games, like the European exclusive port of Battle of Olympus.

At first I saw your list of games, and was mildly impressed. Then I saw your pictures... Wow. Very impressive indeed! The nice thing about Gameboy games is that, in my opinion, as long as they have the plastic clamshell, you're set.

I have around 100 extra clam shells that are not in use at the moment and I dont sell my spares with them either, If i do its rare.

I'm going to get the boxes where i can and maybe one day have a CIB collection but who knows. I'm glad everyone likes the pics. The room that stuff is in is my game room which is still being put together at the moment.

By opinions i ment is it good collection as it stands basicly. This is the only video game system ive ever tryed to complete the library on and probly will only do just this one. I've got 1 or 2 Europe exclusives that I didn't list. If anyone has a list of those that would be a big help.

I'm not really familiar with the Game Boy library at all... what are the hardest games to track down? And which are the most expensive? I've always been in awe of people who collect for this system and the Game Gear. Getting completes is so difficult and there was so much shovelware that no one can even really remember it makes it even harder. I think if you're going for the complete collection you have to go CIB! And then branch out to getting all the Game Boy Color games as well. It's tough but damn, would that be impressive.

I really like that store display too. Did GBC have one of those too?

Not sure about GBC having one similar to that. I don't think so....I mean I never saw one before and I remember seeing the displays for the Grey cart game boy games all the time back in the day. When I started this collection i was just trying to get the games, then some seller on eBay had a ton of instruction books and i thought well....their cheep so why not and i picked up a ton of them from him then I saw star trek tng in a store here in Texas for 4.00 CIB and thought...well...why not and its just kinda gone from there lol.

I'm always on the look out for games i don't have to be CIB but Ive gotten so far into the collection that now I'm replacing games that I have picked up for the collection when i come across said game CIB. I'm hopping to get Flintstones and Jetsons cib but....not likely I still cant lock down tmnt 3.

Some of the hardest to track down are

Amazing tater
spuds adventure
f1 pole position

and with the boxes its next to impossible so yeah....its not been easy I got lucky with pole position.

I have vague memories of seeing Pokemon Yellow on promo at a Target and could have sworn it was shown on a Game Boy Color store display that had a TV connected to it. Who knows though, either way you're collection is awesome. How much is that F1 Pole Position even worth anyway? Lots of questions I know, I just know nothing about original Game Boy.

PS - do you collect Game Boy systems at all?

Well I payed 330.00 or close to it so its very very rare. How much its actually worth I am not sure. Boxed games are rare on their own but lately they seem to be more and more elusive. Yes i do collect the systems. I am currently trying to get some of the play it loud systems. I actually got my first game boy pocket not long ago. My friend Kevin works crushing cars and he gets whatever people have left in them. Anyway he came across a red game boy pocket and mega man 3. So its mine now.

Just curious, how much is Yogi's Gold Rush worth complete?

Very nice collection. For some reason I always confuse F1 Pole Position with F1 Race, I've got to remember which one is which.

Oh ya know some one had it on ebay a while back so I suckered him out of it. lol Jk. Ya if it wasnt for jeff here I wouldnt have the pole position. I used to confuse the f1 racer for it as well.

I honestly have no idea how much yogi is worth with the box. I payed 50.00 so i hope its more than that cause id like to think i got a good deal lol.

Fyi jeff that top gun game is the same one you told me about when i picked up pole position i went and grabbed it about a week ago.

Protip: It's not worth $330.
