    Arrow FS - The History of Video Gaming - 170+ Systems \ 1,500+ Games (UPDATED 21-Aug)

    ** UPDATED 23-Aug-10 **
    (see my last post in this thread for the updates)

    Hello all.

    Though I am aware that I may experience great remorse down the road, I have decided to part with my collection which spans from the initial first release of the Magnavox Odyssey in 1972 to today's next gen systems. This has taken me quite a few years to amass and my hope is that they will now go to a new home that will cherish them as much as I have.

    To keep things organized and to enable me to respond promptly to questions/requests, I decided it would be best to have one thread going for all of the items I will be having for sale. I will be listing items that are ready for sale/shipping as I have completed the pictures/packaging of them. Let's get some logistical items out of the way first...

    Pricing / Payment
    Reasonable offers on any item are always welcomed. I have 100% feedback on eBay (user = Marriott_Guy) and I can provide additional references if you require them (Digital Press, ASSEMbler, RF Generation, etc.). The pictures are of the exact item that you will receive, taken from my personal collection. All items will be thoroughly tested prior to shipment (except NIB items). I know all about gaming budgets, so if there is something you are interested in, just let me know and I'll set it aside and we can work out the payment details. Payment to be made through PayPal.
    Shipping / Handling
    All items will be packed carefully and bubble-wrapped to ensure safe delivery - I am a collector and I know that the packaging/box of an item is as important as its contents. Shipping and handling is not included in the pricing, but will be at my exact cost – no surprise fees whatsoever. Delivery will be made via UPS or USPS (EMS) and I will provide the tracking number for your package. I will ship your item within three (3) days of payment (usually sooner).

    Contact
    To avoid my forum inbox from crashing, please respond to this thread or email me at terry_herman@hotmail.com. I respond promptly to any inquiry. Please include your forum handle to help me keep communications organized

    For Sale
    OK, enough with the banter, let's get to some gaming goodness! A listing of all systems that will be available follows. A link to a quick webpage is provided for each item so that you can check out the pictures (click the item name). If you would like additional pictures of any item, please contact me or post your request in this thread.
    Hardware

    Mattel HyperScan (NIB) --> $15
    This is a new, unopened HyperScan video game console. I have had this sitting in my collection for quite some time. More of a novelty item for the collector.

    Nintendo DS Nintendo DS - Metroid Prime Hunters Bundle --> $69
    CIB and is in very good condition. Screen has a couple of streaks (you can see them in the pictures), The system works perfectly. I forgot to take a pic of the Metroid Prime Hunter Demo and AC cord that comes with this before I packed this up (if you really want the pics, I will unpackage it for you). I lost the original stylus, but this does come with a NIB stylus two pack for you. Also included is a Nintendo DS Carry Pack for your system/accessories. This is an excellent value for someone just getting into DS gaming.

    Nintendo Game Boy Color (Teal) --> $35 OBO
    CIB, excellent condition and all original

    Nintendo GameCube - Platinum Limited Edition Lot --> $69 OBO
    System CIB, but missing the baggie for the controller and cords (has the bag for the system/paperwork). System/packaging are excellent! See the pics for both the system/packaging/games.
    Includes two classic RPGs (both CIB) - Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (original release) and Tales of Symphonia (Player's Choice version)
    Also includes an extra memory card that I have for the system.

    NUON Gaming Collection (System/Games/Movies) --> $299 PENDING
    Up for grabs is my complete NUON collection. This is your chance to basically get the entire offerings in one fell swoop. Here is what is included:
    o System - CIB Toshiba SD-2300
    o Game – CIB Ballistic
    o Game – CIB Freefall 3050 AD x 2 (1 is NIB)
    o Game – Iron Soldier 3 (Not For Sale \ Demo – but it plays all the way through)
    o Game – CIB Merlin Racing x 2
    o Game – CIB Space Invaders XL x 2
    o Game – CIB Tempest 3000
    o NUON Enhanced Movie – Bedazzled
    o NUON Enhanced Movie – Buckaroo Bonzi
    o NUON\DVD Game – Night of the Werewolf NIB
    o NUON\DVD Game – How I Became a Freak NIB
    o NUON\DVD Game – Gravity Angels: Alien Discovery NIB
    o NUON\DVD Game – Kiss: Immortals NIB
    o NUON Controller – NIB Logitech Gamepad
    o NUON Controllers – A couple extra loose controllers I have for the system

    That is allot of bang for your buck. Everything is in excellent condition/working order (see the pics of the screen shots including Iron Soldier 3).

    Radica Golden Tee Golf (NIB) --> $20 OBO
    This is another item that I have had for a while. Plug this puppy directly into your TV (composite), fire it up and enjoy Golden Tee Golf. Definitely a novelty item for the video golf enthusiast.

    Software
    Bandai Super Vision 8000 - Othello (CIB, Ultra Rare!!) --> $84 OBO
    PC Classic Game Lot --> $34
    35 titles - see pics for the games
    Sega Dreammcast - Blaze MP3 CIB --> $10
    Misc (Manuals/Peripherals/Etc.)
    Faces of Death DVD Box Set --> $39
    The cult classic box set which was banned in over 40 countries.
    Includes all 4 releases plus two additional bonus programs. Everything in excellent condition. I know this isn't game related, but this is forbidden to sell on eBay so I thought someone here might be interested since it is rather unique.
    NEC TurboGrafx-16 Expansion Port Cover --> $15
    Nintendo 64DD System Manual --> $35
    In excellent condition. Add this for your loose 64DD console.

    Are you selling systems only with games or are you going to be selling game lots as well?

    This thread makes me sad.

    I've enjoyed looking at your photos quite a bit in the past, but I trust you have a good reason for selling your collection.

    Sorry to take up space in your thread, but I just wanted to comment on this.

    Glad you like the shelving\display system - it took me a while to finish it. I actually bought the base units at Target. They originally only had 6 shelves. I began adding additional shelving using plywood and L brackets to customize it a bit. Each unit holds around 37 systems, not including the top area (where I have my 3DO games displayed).

    Pretty much both Baloo. I will include game lots with each of the systems and will see the remained via game lots, except for a few of the higher-ticket items (Lucienne's Quest, et. al.)

    Thank you for the kind words Breetai - it is sincerely appreciated. This was not an easy decision for me. I have been chewing on this for around 6 months, so this is not a rushed action by any means.

    For items that are not yet available for sale, please feel free to contact me for preliminary pricing and\or pics.

    Thanks all.

    I am in Ohio. These would be cost-prohibitive to ship for anyone. Since I am kind of an organizational freak, I kept track of what it took to build these beasts:

    Shelving Unit - Target - Two 7' x 6' sheving units --> $556.40
    Wood - Home Depot - Wood for extra shelves - 12.0 @ $7.87 --> $94.44
    Brackets - Home Depot - L type brackets for extra shelves 108 @ $0.88 --> $95.04
    Paint - Home Depot - Black paint\supplies for add-on shelves - 4.0 @ $7.87 --> $31.48

    Total = $777.36

    Obviously, I will not be looking for anything close to this figure - just sharing this since the topic came up. These obviously would be one of the last things to go.

    Just wanted to let everyone know that Marriott_Guy is an awesome seller. I bought a 3DO w/ games and an Amiga CD32 off him for a great price and everything came in absolutely mint/perfect condition. Not only that but he kept in contact throughout the entire transaction. I've already done busines with him again . Thanks Terry!
