Better late than never! As always, I had a blast. It's great to get caught up with the IL/WI/IN crowd.

Wow, I don't think I would've recognized Tempest... The first thought that came to mind is he looks a lot like Raedon in his avatar *lol*
Thanks for the pics. I had a great time playing Rock Band with you guys. In fact, I went out and bought it the next day.

Photographic evidence of John Hardie playing Rock Band?
Greatest. Gathering. Ever.
I'm jealous.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
Excellent meeting, greetings to Sean Kelly, makes me remember the good times (90s).
Russ rock 'n' roll....Death Korps songs?
Looks like it was a fun time. Looked like it was getting a little hot in there
I've changed a bit. The beard is probably new since you last saw me, not to mention I dropped about 35 pounds...
The air conditioner wasn't working so it was VERY hot in the store. In the front where everyone was busy playing Rock Band it must have been about 90, but it cooled off towards the back where people were just standing around.
BTW did I mention it's good to be back?

All Your Prototypes Are Belong To Us!
that would have been nice to go to,does anyone know how far that store is from the northwest indiana area?
I have to know the address of Sean's store. He has so much stuff I need that I delayed to look for it and buy it for years.
It is in Chicago, isn't it? Since I'm in Milwaukee I just have to visit his store. There is nothing like this in Milwaukee.
That looked liked a great event.
All those picture make me want to visit Sean's store. Another place to put on my To Go list I guess.
He's in Norridge, just outside of Chicago. It's a great store. I've modeled much of what I do using Sean's store model.

Ug!
It would have been fun to go to! Plane flights on such short notice would have just been a killer. :/ Next year (with a little advanced planning hopefully). I'd pay to see the big three bust out on Rock Band live.
It also looks like the back room has gotten more precarious than when I was there last. Dangerboy and I both thought that our bodies would have been found under stacks of PlayStation cases and loose discs a few times during our previous raids.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Thanks so much for the link. Bookmarked already.
I'll be in this store at least for an hour looking thoroughly around. What I 'need' sounds almost ridiculous to a hardcore collector, but for me there is just a lack of opportunity to go after all such gaming goodness.
The first opportunity I have I'll drive down there.
