Super Bomberman
NBA Jam Tournament Edition
Wanted and willing to fairly pay for:
Final Fantasy III Hat/Cap (Official Squaresoft)
Philips CDI 740
NTSC Proto of Daze Before Christmas (SNES)
Super off road I'm pretty sure.
Super Bomberman
Super Bomberman 2
Super Bomberman 3
Super Bomberman 4
Super Bomberman 5
All of which are great games. Play them in order though, and also play them with friends Note that Super Bomber 3 through 5 are Super Famicom only, but that shouldn't stop you from playing them on your SNES. It didn't stop me.
Yeah a fun multiplayer game with a somewhat good single player too.
Probably not what you're looking for, but just about all of the EA Sports games could be played with four people.

That is a MUCH longer list than I would have ever expected. The SNES multitap seems to have gotten its fair share of support.Originally Posted by Evan

Yeah, there are quite a few. I would like to try the Zero 4 Champ (basically a drag racing rpg) multiplayer. I think hydr0x had his hand in creating this list (from nrst).

There is a multitap that allows for a total of 6 players at a time. One in first player and the remaining five in the multitap. However, I don't think any SNES game supports 6 players. So the question is, how many 5 player games are there, as all of the multitaps allow for up to 5 players total.
Wasn't Wario Blast on the super game boy multitap compatible? I heard somewhere that it was.

Actually, the snes can handle up to 8 player games (with two multitaps hooked up), but there aren't any games that handle more than 5 players.

Then actually that would be 10 players total because there is a 5 player multitap, and therefore two of these multitaps means a total of 10 controllers at a time.Originally Posted by Evan

Woah! I'd have never thought that so many SNES/SFC games use the multitap. I must say that my favorite SNES/SFC game that uses the multitap, is Super Bomberman 5. The gameplay is very cool and it has a great single and multiplayer mode.
Very old thread, but whatever.
Anyway, I've never understood why that Gamefaqs list doesn't include Bomberman GB and Wario Blast, the two games (both Bomberman titles) that have 4-player multiplayer modes on the SNES through the Super Game Boy. Super Game Boy features are SNES-exclusive, they really should count...
