2 months ago I had to say a last farewell to my 2 pugs of 15 years. It was very hard......

But now I have a little virtual sunshine in my life.... my little boy pug I have affectionately named Otis in honor of my real life companion I just lost.

I really like this game. The funny thing was when I went to buy it last night, everywhere I went was sold out of "Daschunds and friends" but all had copies of the other 2.

I got a corgi cuz I love Ein from Cowboy Bebop, but I named him Spock because I am a huge Star Trek fan and I really wanted to give my dog a Star Trek name. I was gonna do a video game name, but I already have a parakeet named Navi in real life and the video game name would be too obvious. But it fits him perfectly, cuz he has big pointy ears! Heehee

Last week i was all ready to buy the DS, Advance Wars and Nintendogs and get my pug FINK (short for sphincter) upo and running. But alas, Katrina donations have taken my DS fund (as well as my 360 fund, and the HD fund, etc. etc. etc.). Maybe after the holidays FINK and I will be introduced.

Annoying customer. Yes, it would have worked better if it was Nintencats... but you do what you have to.

    I named my labrador Inky.

But because I've only found time to play Nintendogs late at night, Inky responds to "key", and sits when I say "it". Bah!

Felix! It's a male lab, and it was the first thing that came to my mind. I like this game a lot. I really think Nintendo did a good job incorporating all of the DS's features into the title. This game is all interaction. The only things I can think of that I would want that are not in this title are a breeding sim, and more breeds of dogs.

I ended up with a gray pug named Jak. My real dog's name is Jackson, so....plus I'm a huge Jak fan. Anyways, I noticed you can also purchase brown pugs, which is the color of my real dog. Needless to say I ended up with two pugs. One Jak and the other Jackson. Except I usually only play and train Jak. I thought it would be silly to only teach the other dog sit, since that's the only command besides "eat quickly," my real dog knows.

My dog is a brindle/brown boxer, named Koopa.

My biggest gripe with Nintendogs is that the dog breeds available are almost all foofy, lame toy breeds. :/

I don't have Nintendogs...of course I don't have a Nintendo DS either. I wonder if I should get one? Then again, I may not want it if I can't get a Collie...
