I got a boxed, MINT colecovision with 3 games and instructions for $2 CDN.
Headed out today and got:
Miscellaneous Thrift
Sega Master System Power Base - 5
Gamezone
SNES Super Advantage (Mint in Box) - 15
Excellent condition! Looks great. It's currently leveling up my FF3 characters in that raft ride area for a day or two.
Lastly, I saw the WEIRDEST accident ever in my life. There were two cars, one behind the other in an accident but the weird part was there was a truck that looked like it jumped a ramp and dive bombed the two cars right in between. It had basically landed on the second car and the truck bed was sticking up straight in the air.
as much as it killed me I went to my Gamecrazy again for the 3 for 15$ sale and did end up getting that Paper Mario with the screwed up label. I also picked up 1942 for NES and Super Metroid SNES (players choice)... thats really all thats left
PSN: SouthRox
Yall get ready to be jealous of my thrift store find.
Uh huh thats right all the pieces are right.
If I had to guess rarity Id say about an R986
Approximate value 300 billion trillion dollars.

99 Pieces. That's sooo weird to me. I'd think it would be 100. ANyways nice find Sothy. Now try to put it together when drunk! Puzzles are more fun this way.

Well, yesterday was a holiday here in Austria, and we were invited by my aunt and uncle. They were cleaning up the cellar recently and found my cousin's video game stuff. As he knows that I collect classic games (I still have good contact to him and we meet up every now and then) he told them not to throw it away but give it to me when I come to visit them next time
It is not a lot of stuff what he had. First he got my G7000 when I got a G7400 in January 1984, but soon after that he sold the G7000 and bought himself a VCS. And soon after that he got an 800 XL. I don't know where the 800 XL is (probably he took it with him to his own house), but in the boxes my aunt showed me there was the VCS stuff.
I remember us playing with his VCS like it was yesterday, and now I have the console and all the games we played back then. Most of the games I got from other sources in the meantime, but I am sure you can understand that exactly THOSE games mean much more to me as they are really the copies we played back then and each of them has it's own story
Here is what I got:
- Atari VCS "Darth Vader" loose but with 2 joysticks and all cables.
- Berzerk loose (was a pack-in back then, I even remember when we were in that certain store to buy it)
The rest is complete in box:
- Missile Command
- Space Shuttle
- Winter Games
- Sir Lancelot / Robin Hood
- Ghost Manor / Spike's Peak
After playing a lot of Berzerk back then he bought Missile Command which we played a lot too. Then he got Space Shuttle and I was so envious, because my G7000 didn't have a similar game. I borrowed his VCS + Space Shuttle for the christmas holidays (1984/85) and played it several hours each day, until I got the Pilot patch which I still have here! Winter Games was a christmas present from my parents for my cousin. As we couldn't get it here in Austria, I ordered it from the UK. The two Xonox double enders I got from the teenie magazine "Rennbahn Express" back then, they were very cheap for Austria as they cost only 150 Schillings (apprx. $14 today).
Anyway, it was great to get that stuff again now
I wish this could happen more often, maybe I should open a cellar clean-up service or so

Picked up a new PS1 Austin Powers Pinball for $AUS9 at K-Mart today.. looks like they're just about out of the PS1 business.. can I get a moment's silence?
Was at a conference this past week and got couple deals:
Local Gamestop had some NES controllers for $2, and I needed some for some NES' I am reconditioning. Picked up ten of them and took them to the counter asking, do you offer a quantity discount. He said they are currently on sale for half off. I am like cool, went to go pick up the rest expecting a bill of $25 for the controllers. Came out to $.50 each which I thought was pretty good since I haven't seen them anyplace else for under $2.
Also picked up 4 PS longbox's (1 from GameStop)
CyberSpeed $1.50
VR Soccer '96 $1.99
Defcon 5 $1.99
Zero Divide $1.99
Passed up a VTennis, but might have to go back and pick that up.
Also picked up a bunch of combat carts for $.29 a piece. Have the black plastic labels for easy removal. Great for homebrewing which I just got my Pocket Programmer from Intronics.
Wife grabbed me a SNES at a garage sale yesterday for $20. Nothing spectacular, 6 games including Mario Paint (with mouse/mousepad), NIB Jeopardy, and a Barbie game my daughter was playing.
Hopefully find some more this weekend.

Traded a Genesis 3, which I paid basically nothing for - for... a CIB Phantasy Star II and a CIB Phantasy Star III.
Needless to say, I'm a happy fellow. 8*)
In addition to my previous post, I got Fri:
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 (PS2) $10
I saw a few more wants at EB Games, but my wife put the kibosh on that due to my numerous buys this past week. :/
Uh...wouldnt it look just like the picture Sothy posted?Make sure you do the puzzle and show us it completed
I bought that for my nephew when it first came out & liked it more than HE did! The little music program is fun & the bug-swatting game isnt half-bad either.6 games including Mario Paint (with mouse/mousepad)
