that's why I have spare Xbox in case I want to go LIVE
Discussed a few days ago, but thanks for lookin' out fer us.

Exactly. It's the same reason you have to have a street-legal car to drive to work in. I don't condone hacking the Xbox, in fact, when I get enough spare cash, you better believe I'll start looking into it heavily. Until then, however, the call of Halo 2 is too great so I'll wait before I go fooling around with the bios, etc. You agree to follow the terms set forth by using Live, so if they cut you out you should either read the fine print or shut up. (Or buy another Xbox, then everyone wins).
Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a new Xbox.
and what ever reason I have few more Xbox M/B with HDD at the garage...
maybe 'bouttime to get the transparent case and put them in good use...
nah! too much work really...
What an expert.Other video game consoles don't seem to face as much tinkering for the sake of piracy as the Xbox, said PJ McNealy, an analyst with American Technology Research.
Sony Corp. (SNE)'s PlayStation 2 doesn't have as complex antipiracy measures, he said, and Nintendo Co.'s cartridge-based games are much more difficult to pirate than the CDs that Microsoft and Sony use.
He must be referring to the Gamecube's upcoming cartridge add-on, the 36C. Yowza!
