    Default Introduction, Good deal, question...

Although I already made a post on that introduction thread thing, I'll just say hi again.

I also wanted to brag about how I cleaned up using that GameRush deal a while back. I spent $127, and walked away with $183 in store credit, 13 games for myself, and two Mario Kart Double Dashes. I did this by buying expensive games for cheap and then taking them back to another GameRush. Cheap, I know, but it was worth it.

The main purpose of this post is to tell everyone of a deal at Gamestop. You can trade in a N64 or Playstation (and maybe some other systems, but they werent woth it) and get $30 off any new system besides PS2. Since you can pick up an N64 at EB for 14.99 (and probably for less elsewhere), that is essentially $15 dollars off. The ad says you need a non sports game for Playstation or N64 (or a newer system), but where I went they only required the N64 for the deal.
I used this deal along with trading in the two Mario Karts I picked up earlier to get a new NES GBA SP for $18. Not bad.

Finally, I wanted to post my collection, which I have recorded on a .txt file, but I do not know how. Is there anyway I can upload it or something, or what?

If this post is a waste of space, just tell me.

Well, you could upload it with any service such as Geocities or anything that lets you make a webpage.

Or, you could enter them in at ign.com and display your collection with one simple link, like this.

Can you trade in more than one system and get $30 for each. I have about 5 n64 systems kicking around that I could trade.

The official word is "no" and you can't trade them in for random games, you can only trade them in towards the purchase of a new GBA SP, Xbox, or Gamecube. Also, corporate did send an email saying that just the system is required, "as they realized requiring a game was just stupid" i.e. GBA is $20 in credit, Sword of Mana was $14....so by that, it should be $34. Instead of $20 for the system, they bump it to $30 and forget the game.

    Other deals:

    Buy 2 Get 1 free
10% with the gamestop card (plus an extra 10% off if you have the coupon)
Extra $10 for 3 GCN, Xbox, or PS2 games (as long as they aren't old sports or wrestling games, demo discs)
Extra 10% added to your trade in with the coupon
30% off DC, SNES, NES, Genesis

Dangit, I forgot about that 10% coupon.

Ok, If anyone cares, I posted my collection on two .txt files on angelfire.

This one shows all of my games

This one shows systems and accessories

The are not the most organized things, but that's it.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. A few weeks ago, I scored a few PS2 games for $2.50 each and used them and a free N64 towards the new GBA SP. Total cost for me (including cost of earlier PS2 games) was less than $30. Now, after I sell my old GBA SP, I will make a profit.
