There's a pawn shop that sells older games for the price of 3 for $10. So far, I've found Ocarina of Time (gray cart), Mario Party 3 and a few others. Too bad the place is around 30 miles away or I'd go there more often.
Geez some of these are incredible. I thought I did well scoring a NTSC Little Samson CIB and Wrecking Crew CIB for $500 last year, really good condition too.
My best finds have been $2 for a boxed SNES Ogre Battle, $3 for Brigaine the Legend of Forsena and it is a toss up for third because I found a stack of great JRPGs that are all about the same rarity and quality. Best thing about these finds all of them were at the same store.
I would say ( all from the same deal and lot )
From a local garage sale years ago.
Starion ( ROMOX ) .25 ( homemade label )
Topper ( ROMOX ) .25 ( label in good shape, not perfect )
Mogul Maniac ( ROMOX ) .25 ( Label with a typed out title and part number. Good to Very Good shape. )
All 3 came in a lot of an Atari 800 ( or it was a 400 i think 800 ) with 3 games for 1.00 . Couldnt pass on it.

Shining Force CD CIB $5
Earthworm Jim SE NIB $30 (actually found 3 copies of it that a local store forgot they had - sent them to my closest friends in the Sega fandom at the time)
Sega Saturn model 1 $5 (this was THE Saturn, that led me on a 6+-year journey of discovery, faith, and nerdery that led me to where I am today, married with even more Sega games. Sadly, this Saturn went kaput and has since been replaced by a region-modded model 2.)
