So pleased to have found this forum as I just love tinkering with old consoles. I registered to post a question, but I've spent the last hour just reading old topics... fascinating.
Anyway, I do have a question.
Here is a side-by-side comparison video I shot of the same game (and same physical cartridge) running on separate SNESs that I have in my possession. Both consoles are the standard UK PAL edition (SNSP-001A).
You can see the graphical glitches in the video on the right. The glitches don't appear with every game I try on this console. SF2 and Super Mario All Stars both function perfectly for example. I only have the three games to test, so I accept that it's not the greatest sample size. I've cleaned the console thoroughly, including the 62-pin connector and the cartridge. I've even tried swapping out the 62-pin connector from the working console to the broken one... No luck.
I'm pretty much stumped at this point. Any help or tips would be appreciated!
