Replacing a corroded dc port on Genesis 2

before replacing it i would de-silder the jack and drop it in a cup with some fresh coke or pepsi in it, that usually takes care of the funky corrosion, just be sure to clean it real good before soldering it back on there

Hmmm never thought about doing something like that, would you have any suggests on how long it should stay in the pop?

couple minutes atleast, and a tooth brush in ther scrubbing it every once in a while wouldnt hurt
