Any titles where the publisher made LOTS of packaging type changes like covers and disc labels, that add little if any content or extras?

Super Smash Bros Melee comes to mind. In just the NTSC-U format there might be at least *8* case inserts, assuming all these are genuine:
US original
US player's choice
US best seller
Canada original
Canada player's choice
Canada best seller
US not for resale, on front
US not for resale, on back

Tomb Raider 1 and Alundra on the PSX are both at 8 each.

I'd think Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past and Super Mario World are probably there too. LTTP though to be fair, did get a French Canadian translation (like Kirby's Adventure).

Atarimania lists 106 variants of the 2600 game Space Invaders, including clones. Atari itself released it with text label and at least 4 different picture labels (black, red, gray, and silver), and under the Sears name with picture & 1 or 2 text label variants. There was different box art and manual styles for many of these, too. Many 2600 games have these excessive variants.

I believe Lunar: The Silver Star had at least 7 variants as well... I feel lucky to have had the "coolest" looking one (at least before I sold my copy).

Metroid Prime for Gamecube has atleast 5 that I know of:

Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime Players Choice
Metroid Prime with Metroid Prime 2 demo
Metroid Prime with Kmart coupon on cover
Metroid Prime/LOZ: Wind Waker double pack

And those are just the five I know about. I'm sure there are atleast 1-3 more out there.
