You always have amazing scores. Thanks for sharing and I think I will hit the flea market tomorrow.

Last Resort... killer pickup!
Also, I yelled "Ouch!" when that AC adapter kissed off the edge of the Neo Geo.
Ya. me too. lol. I dropped it but it looked like on purpose. But def no on purpose. Anyway, just got done hooking it up to make sure it was all working, and it works great. I am keeping four of the games, View Point, Andro Dunos, Ghost Pilot & Alpha Mission, and the system. Selling the rest of the games as I don't really like fighters. Selling off Last Resort and Aero Fighters too, although I would have liked to have kept them. But I have View Point and that is the one I really wanted to keep. That game is killer on the AES!
Here is a link to the auction for any that are reading this. It will be posted in the auctions area too.

Last Resort and Aero Fighters 2 are WAY better than Andro Dunos and Ghost Pilots. I would keep those two over the one's you've listed without a doubt.
Killer score by the way. That's a great lot for a good price.
Well, View Point was going to be my only keeper as I actually love that game and as I thought, playing on this is much better than playing it on the Genesis so it was a no-brainer keeper for me. I also really like Andro Dunos and have played it alot on my Mame cab, but playing it on the big screen on this is really awesome. And my wife loves shooters where we can play together. I did like Last Resort and Aero Fighters but they were two of the more expensive games in the lot so I figured I would add them into the selling lot to help recoup some of my $.
My friend's been taking his AES to the swapmeet to try to sell it. (I think he's asking too much or else why not sell it online?) It's surprised a few collectors. Definitely not what you expect to find at a swapmeet. (Nor are my Wonderswans, for that matter.)
Incredible!! That's the kind of find I daydream about haha. So awesome to see people find great stuff like that. I'm vicariously enjoying it through you! Congrats man!
I hate to say it, but given the condition of most of those and the system, I think you overpaid. Those are gamer condition carts which typically sell for maybe $20-$50 depending on the title. Maybe five or six of the titles are worth slightly more in that shape. It's rare to find that many AES carts at once in the wild, but certainly they are widely available on Ebay and NeoGeo.com and in nicer condition generally for around what you paid. You will probably be able to just about break even if you part things out, but probably won't make much of a profit if any.
It's the "what's it worth" thread, not an auction thread. People just seem to assume that anything Neo Geo is automatically valuable and that is just not the case. Condition is everything and games with holes in the inserts, missing or torn baggies, scratches and faded, folded and bent inserts take a huge value hit.
Yes! You wont be disappointed.
I would give AF2 another shot too. Out of all the Neo shooters (including Pulstar and Strikers 1945+) it's definitive my favorite. I know that the vert/horizontal hybrids are usually poorly received, but this game is a gem. MUCH better than it's sequel.
It's no problem. I am still happy about the score and what I paid. And I wasn't planning on making a killing like he had suggested. My starting bid was 50% less than the book price and if I get my $650 back or close to it then I will still walk away with a working AES system and 5 great games basically for free. Right now the 12 game lot is just a bit under $500 with three different bidders and a week to go so I think it will get pretty close to my original $650.

Awesome find!
I've been going to flea markets every now and then in NorCal for the past 12 years and I have never seen any AES stuff for sale, ever.
Nice find and a great video! Thanks for sharing.
