U GAIZ JUST DONT LIKE CHANGE , (builds a artificial foundation here)
So, either they release a version that works with a price-point that is too high to sell through, or they turn it into a sissified 32x? Can't wait!
If they are concerned about price point, they should talk to this guy for some cheap and practical add-on ideas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_AaXKQZbXY

If this thing isn't equal to or less than $99.99, its dead on arrival. Part of their plan is bundling this with an Arcade 360, so it cannot cost more than the Wii. The soccer mom demographic Microsoft is targeting with Natal likely already has a Wii, why would they pay more for something that their kids lost interest in two years ago? No amount of fabricated hype is going to make Natal sell. It needs the price and software to back it up.

Another thing that makes this seem kinda crazy to me, is that it isn't like MS doesn't have any competition to deal with regarding Wave. The Wii has been around for awhile now, but could have some new Wii Motion Plus enabled games coming this holiday. Sony obviously has their Move. I just don't see how MS comes out at $149.99. How is that going to compete head to head with Move? Sure, once you buy all the various Move attachments that you need, you're up to a pretty high price, but it "seems" much less expensive and perceived cost is much more important than the actual cost. Wave would be perceived as very expensive, and Move inexpensive, even though by the time you get all the adapters for two people to play a Move boxing game, you're basically actually paying more than the price of Wave. Still, $150 is Re donk ulous.
this is what sucks about MS they charge you for wifi, then live (that is kind of resonable) then they charge you for this and at such a high price! I always buy it probably will this too but dammit I hate how they do these things
Yeah, but you're buying it. Don't buy it. The only way that Apple can get away with all the ridiculous pricing, is because there are enough goofballs out there that will practically pay anything for their stuff. Same thing with Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony. All 3 of them charge ridiculous amounts for various add-ons.
Still, $150 is bat shit crazy. The only way $150 could really make any sense, is if they are including a killer app that is just going to blow everybody out the water. I'm talking about something like Oblivion or Fallout, but you're actually having interactions with all the NPC's ala the Milo tech demo. Could you imagine having actual conversations with NPC's? Slightly interesting ones? Sure, the conversations wouldn't be legitimate in the slightest, and they'd just be programmed A.I. with many vocabulary and understanding limitations, but if they could just fake it nicely.... it would be sweet.
The Milo demo:

One of the video's comments: "one small step for man. one giant step for every pedophile with a couple hundred bucks laying around"
That begs the question, "How depraved can one go in the realm of pedo-jokes?". In answer, I submit; Project Pre-Natal.

Why wouldn't these dummies make the character look like Megan Fox or something?

new footage, and from this count me less interested.

My interest is officiallly in the negatives now. Whoever buys this turd is going to get a Nelson Ha-Ha from my end.
Ive seen PC Webcams that cost more than $150.00. Anyone that thinks this is going to be less than $150.00 is batshit crazy. MS Has to pay for the hardware, the R&D, the production, the shipping, the marketing. Just like oil and cigarettes, these costs are passed on to the consumer.
I'm just going to wait until E3 to see what the price tag officially is.

Call me a sucker but if a Sam & Max game is released for Natal and is done well I really want to try it. I doubt it'll happen but hey.
