So true. A lot of people who play online would be super surprised at how different it is than playing people at a tournament, or even playing people casually in a tournament setting. There's a ton of factors to put in.

- No comfort of your own home
- Sitting next to the person your playing

But it's so much better. You don't have to worry about lag stopping you (unless you're playing on a non-calibrated HD TV >_> ) And it's a much better experience overall.
Yep, and lag tricks don't work either. Biggest problem when I play online against someone = I can't space properly. My poking depends on instantly recognizing other peoples moves to counter on retraction/reaction, but it's impossible to do that online, even on a local connection regardless of game...a lot of my game is reaction based, which is why online is always a completely different style that I have to utilize.
