My copy of Super Mario Bros/Duckhunt....because it's the same copy of the game I got for Christmas 1988, and it's the first video game I ever owned.

I got a couple of Nintendo Power floppies from back when AOL was the only internet service. The floppies were supposed to make you a Power Member and give you access to the official Nintendo Power website.
The vectrex light pen.

One of the hopeless idiots that runs SC3; (Southern California Classic Collectors):
www.sc3videogames.com
all the nba street games for ps2 and dynasty warriors series
Ditto. e-reader had a ton of individual cards made for it, including the Pokemon TCG cards, so it's extremely collectible. Not to mention that cards that contain video games is an amazingly cool novelty.
Aside from that, probably my Zelda 1 and SF2 Turbo manuals, both of which are missing the cover. Strange how I have exactly one manual of each generation with a torn cover, minus current gen.
Odd how quite a few people are naming damaged items. Remembering how your gaming items have weathered over the years adds to the nostalgia.

My copy of Phantasy Star from when I was a kid still with the 20 year old saves.

My Tales of Phantasia oversized ad box. Or maybe my Rogue Galaxy Pirate Flag (Stupid demo disc related item.)
My "How to Win at Nintendo Games" three book box set. Worthless no doubt, but I read them all even if I didn't have the games. Now they sit on the shelf beside the Mario Power Up energy drink, also worthless.
-My copy of the premiere issue of Nintendo Power (with clay Mario 2 on the cover) as well as the issue with the Mega Man 2 cover.
-Issue 28 of Electronic Gaming Monthly
-My Dreamcast receipt
-Mario Kart 64 soundtrack (lost the cardboard sleeve)
-Dreamcast broadband adaptor (does this have value? maybe it does.. but I can't use it anymore so it is a sentimental reminder of the 800 or so hours I spent playing PSO)
My Final Fantasy II receipt. Every time someone uneducated mentions that games weren't expensive in the old days, I whip this baby out. It was worth every penny to me (edited for the U.S., or not).
I also have a printed out 1999 rarity list off of Atari 2600 Nexus (which is now know as AtariAge).
I also have many notebooks full of game ideas I had back in the early 90's. Super Mario 12 and a Half and Final Fantasy X (as in Ex, not 10), anyone
not related to gaming but I have the first Microsoft Word on floppies that I don't have the heart to get rid of
.............
I have the receipt from my copy of Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's got my name written at the top because it was left on the hold shelf at work by a friend of mine. He and I had made a bet that I could not go a full month without buying a game. No putting games on hold, no getting anyone else to buy it for me.
Needless to say, I won and Smash Bros was my prize
One of my other favorite items is my orignal Game Boy. I received it as a gift when I was 5 and at some point I wrote my name on the cartridge slot. The screen is scratched to hell but it still works and I absolutely love it. I'd sell almost anything else in my collection before I let that thing go
for me it's between two things:
1. my copy of Wario Land II for GBC - it was the first game i ever bought with my own money (i was like, 8). on top of that, aside from FFVII, it's probably the game i've spent the most time playing.
2. my donkey kong 64 and shenmue game guides. i got both of these from a friend who...well, changed. but anyway, best friend gave me them when he got rid of his DC and N64, kind of a reminder of the fun of the games and all that jazz.
I have a few of those "DS Download Station" carts the stores would keep in the floor DS systems. They each had about 4 or 6 Nintendo game demos on them that kids could copy to their own DS. They may have also had short commercials or videos on them, I don't remember.
I paid nothing for them and can't imagine anyone actually hunting them down. So they sit in my DS cart baggie...
Collector of 1,673 strategy guides, and BlazBlue ain't one of them.
MC Kids.
I looooved playing this game with my relatives.
An almost-complete collection of GamePlayers Game Tapes. I love these old instructional tapes, there were a few on the 'free rental' rack at my local vid store growing up which are now long gone.
Anyone have GamePlayers tape vol. 1 nos. 10, 13, and >14 laying around in playable condition or other similar stuff they want to get rid of?
