OK, I'll met ya halfway. I updated the list to Top 25, and have taken some of your suggestions.

Games that are pathetically easy are boring. And boring games belong in the trashcan, not the top 20 list.
Okay, I'm doinning my shield so you can tell me why I'm a dumbass for expressing my opinion.

TROY'S GAMING HISTORY
1977- Atari 2600 (primitive)
1985- Commodore=128 (8-bit)
1989- Amiga 500 (16-bit)
1991- zzzzzzzzzzz :scatter:
2002- Playstation 2 (128-bit)
P.S. Actual name is F1 world Gran Prix according to amazon.com.
I see this game is available for the PS1. Which version is better? N64 or PS1?
Pokemon Stadium is absolute crap. Okay, I'll admit, I haven't played 2, but the first on was the single most excruciatingly boring experience of my life. Even if the sequel is better, there's no way it should be included over other games. Like...Mischief Makers, or Donkey Kong 64, or Quake II.
I can't complain about WWF, but I think it should be a different installment...maybe Wrestlemania?
Also, I'm at a total loss as to Diddy Kong Racing's appeal...but then, I seem to be in the minority there.
And thank god you didn't snub Perfect Dark. Not only does it blow Goldeneye away, it's the best game on the system, IMHO...can you say "infinite replay value"?
I don't see Rakuga Kids. I personally think it was the N64's best fighter, even above smash bros., mainly because it was so hilariously funny.
Conform. Consume. Obey.
No Mercy was THE best wrestler for the n64, even if it wasn't the last one released, it's still the one that gets the most play.
Check out the Kleppings!

If Paper Mario is so great, how come no one's buying my $19 copy off Ebay?
Probably because they know it sucks. :-(
I gave up on the game at hour 13, and then used the previous owner's save game to fast-forwarded to the final battle with Bowser... which was patehtically easy. I've played worse games... but not many.

wow.. where is the Tetrisphere support.. Did no one play the greatest game on the n64? Am I the only one who had friends who loved to battle in Tetrisphere? The game is soooo solid, I think you guys missed playing it because of the short run at the end of the first generation of n64 games..

Or probably because it has no manual, you don't mention if you have the box for it, didn't list the shipping charges, and you STARTED it at $19.. want me to keep going?Originally Posted by theaveng
I have to say that list looks pretty darn good.
I'll give you my support for Tetrisphere--easily my favorite game for the N64. Damn addicting play, fun multiplayer, and the puzzles get really challenging after a while. Plus, it keeps track of time spent on the individual puzzles and has interesting "throw-ins" like bombs and chain guns to clear away pieces. Challenges like "Crystal Tower" make this game even more fun and interesting to play.Originally Posted by Raedon
This game takes a bit to learn, but once you do, its tough to put away. My brother thought this game was crap until I showed him how it works. He's since gone out and bought his own copy because I was tired of him playing mine!
I say take out Diddy Kong Racing. It was a good concept the first time around--it was called Mario Kart 64. The addition of airplanes and hovercraft didn't add anything to the gameplay, and overall I felt like it was a sub-par attempt at trying to milk more money out of the Donkey Kong franchise.

If it's any consolation, theaveng, I'd buy it if I had any money at all. Which I don't.
Oh, and NE146, I love the icon. Most twisted game EVER
I'd also like to drop another game into the hat: Jet Force Gemini. Not as polished as some other Rare efforts, but there's definitely something to be said for spraying bug guts around a room with your machine gun. Too bad there are way too many of Rare's patented horribly out of the way fetch quests (tm, r, all rights reserved) But the Mr. Pants cheat makes it all worth it

You raise a good point about the box though. Still, I don't think $19 is an outrageous price when a brand-new Paper Mario costs $50.
My vote goes towards removing Starfox64 and adding San Francisco Rush.
I played Starfox to completion but it never had that wow factor for me. I was just glad to be finished with it. It certainly wasn't as re-imagined as the other big franchises (Mario, Zelda).
I'd add San Francisco Rush because it's one of the few games that I'll go back and play. And it passes the guest rule. If a guest comes back and requests to play it again then I'm forced to believe it's something special. My most recent example of this would be Super Monkey Ball. My thinking is that, since I do pay attention to the buzz online and read magazines, sometimes my likes/dislikes can be tainted by what is *supposed* to be good. The guest test keeps you grounded in what's simply fun to pick up and play. No hype.

DP Any way I could persuade you to take off Pokemon Stadium for Tetrisphere?
