Talking 36 WoW Accounts + One Man ... played at the same time

http://www.destructoid.com/hail-the-...k-107309.phtml

Quote:
I submit evidence of one man, which I am going to use to paint all World of Warcraft players as subhuman scumworms who deserve to be shot. This creature owns 36 WoW accounts, plays them at the same time on 11 computers, and goes on solo raids. He can't even make friends in a videogame.

The WoW nutbag goes by the name of Bradster, leading me to believe it is our very own Brad Nicholson. The 36 accounts costs him $5711 in subscription fees: "Not bad considering I’m looking at it like it’s a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft."

Yeah, there are also worse crimes than raping a woman, but I'm not going to do that either.

Bradster also has designs on 36 copies of Wrath of the Lich King, which will run him to another $1500. He has chosen to do this simply because he wants to invade Stormwind and Ironforge. By himself.

I fully believe that when the atomic bomb drops, it is not cockroaches that will survive, but World of Warcraft players, all of them angry that the loud noise put 'em off their looting. Freaks.

The writer of that article is just bitter that he didn't think of it first.

I honestly think it's fake. The picture to me looks Photoshop'd. Supposedly he has 36 individual WOW accounts, but if you look at the picture each window on his computers are the same thing. If they were individual accounts they would all have something different on them.

That's a little over the top, but I don't see why that guy's getting so worked up. I mean, if that's what the guy wants to do with his time and money, what's the big deal?

It reminds me of a guy they interviewed on some TV show, his whole house is a museum to Planters' Mr. Peanut memorabilia.

I've run into people hot-boxing on our battlegroup before. I know there is a player who runs five mages at once and a seperate with five shaman. Run into one of these dudes guarding a tower in Alterac Valley and your in for a megafast meltdown. I have no problem with this story beng legit. I'm sure someone is crazy enough to do it.

I can't believe people still play this game much less go to this kind of extreme. I mean, games as a hobby is fine but this is just sad and pathetic. I never dreamed that some people could be this insane. When do these guys have time for a real life with only 24hours in the day?

It's for real. He is leveling 36 Shamans and using a program that sends commands to groups of WoW programs that are running. If he tells one shaman to move the others follow or do the same actions.

I'm betting he'll need more then 36 lvl 80 characters to siege Stormwind and Ironforge.

The author is kind of a tool. And who cares what this guy does with his money? There are many seedier things you can do with that kind of money.

looks real to me, all are logged in to the char selection screen (if i remember correctly, havent played since 2 months after the game came out).

im seeing 4 accounts running per screen, doable. probably with 1 mouse/keyboard binded to like 4-7 accounts, each with a similar type of character, so he only has to look at one sector of one monitor to know whats going on relatively on each similar one. with stuff like last targetting and macros its doable.

the reported doesnt sound jealous, and i agree w/ him. this human being is a drawn on society. that electricity is better used fueling an electric chair, or lava lamp.
