That's great and all, but where is Shenmue III? If you're going to port 1 and 2, it would just make sense you give gamers who have them a reason to buy other than a waggle version of Lucky Hit.
Mika: Where are you taking me, Gillian?
Gillian: To look at videos on YouTube...
Mika: *sigh* No more videos of a drunk Harry dancing with a dead Snatcher...
Giliian: Nope, it's better...Its LiquidPolicenauts YouTube Videos!
Gillian: And after that, you should also visit

What's wrong with the HOTD Wii release? HOTD 2 & 3 on the Wii was actually a brilliant idea considering the old versions don't work on HDTV. I have absolutely no problem with a double pack of two well done games that I couldn't otherwise play without dragging out the old TV for $30 on a console that frankly wasn't getting much love around my house. Also, re-re-released? 3 was an Xbox exclusive, 2 I think had a PC port but otherwise there was the DC version and that's it.
Now releasing Sonic 1 to every platform known to mankind (how are you supposed to play Sonic on an iPod???) that's a different kettle of fish there. But I don't see what's wrong with releasing HOTD on the Wii and, for that matter, I don't see what's wrong with a Shenmue collection assuming it's also clocking in at $30. Who knows? If enought people buy it, we might actually see a Shenmue III.
That quote was too good to not post, lol.So... do you waggle the Wii-remote to look for sailors?
I guess it's just more of a disappoinment than anger on Sega releasing HotD 2&3 for the Wii. To me at least it was just a rush thing to cash in, where as they could have actually ported and released HotD 4 or even remake part 1. As for the re-re-release, I did mean HotD 2, I shoudl have been clearer. For people who never owned Part 3 (or 2 even), its great. But for others like me who had part 2 on both the DC and Xbox, it would have been nice to include something new....

Until someone forks over another $100,000,000 i don't think there's going to be a Shenmue 3...
I'd buy it. Without any 2nd guesses. But I'd really hope SEGA would tweak both games. For example, speed up the pacing of both games. With Wii's extra horsepower and memory, improve the draw distance so characters don't draw-in all time (seriously, that took me out of the game too often). More Wii-mote waggles could add some fun to gambling and working and driving forklifts/motorcycles/etc. And throw something together to actually end the story after the Shen2 part - even if its just a movie or stills w/Text. *
* I really don't believe Shen-Wii this is true, though.
