I reviewed some reviews. Differences I noted:
- Controls (obviously)
- Graphics are identical on both consoles
- Sound on the Cube is "sampled" like N64-style
- .....but orchestral/pre-recorded on the Wii
- (Is that true?)
Any other differences?

I haven't played the Wii version of TP, but if you've played Wind Waker or even the GCN port of Ocarina of Time, you'll find yourself in familiar grounds, control-wise, in no time. They're smooth controls.
Remember, if you intend on playing both Wii and GCN versions (or if you use walkthroughs while playing either version): although both games contain the same world maps, dungeons, etc., the Wii version is a mirror image of the GameCube one, ie. if you must turn left in the Wii version, you must turn right in the GameCube version.
I believe the only differences between the versions are:
- the controls (as you have already mentioned)
- Both versions support 480P, but only the Wii version has a widescreen mode
- the game world in the Wii version is mirrored because Link is now right handed (So if something was on Link's right in the GCN version it is now on his left in the Wii version.)
The music is exactly the same in both versions. I believe the only orchestrated track is the one that plays during the intro sequence.
Ok ok i really dont care about the controls or anything of that sort but is the game play good?

Remember all Halo 2 fanatics must visit my site!!
It's a Zelda game...doesn't that answer that question about if its good?
What leo said. Link in wolf form is pretty cool.
If you're not sure, just rent the game first and find out for yourself.
The only problem I have faced with the Cube version of Zelda. Is the most odd sound issues coming out of my Samsung HDTV. Whenever a high pitch hits in a sound effect or BGM. You'll hear distortion coming out of the speakers, which gets really annoying when the action in the game gets heavy.
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
I have it on the GC and it's awesome. It is now my favorite LoZ game. It plays great. The controls are perfect, and if you have ever played The Wind Waker you will find them very similar. I highly recommend it.
Well you do know that the Wii version is a port of the GCN version? Except yeah they would have tweaked it with the controls and mirrored map.
is there a site with side-by-side comparisons of the GC and Wii versions?
