I checked out another TRU store about 30 miles away on Thursday and bought a few new games that weren’t on the cheapassgamer.com original list:

Since my last post, I found Metal Gear Solid: Graphic Novel (PSP) for $20 and Archer MacLean’s Mercury (PSP) for $9.98. The R-Zone guy had dumped all games that were $20 and under into a huge bin, which made it hard to find everything. He had a dummy box for Atelier 2, and he was PO’ed because he didn’t know it was on sale and wanted it for himself.

I’m still looking for .hack//GU (PSP), Chessmaster (PS2), Point Blank (DS), Yu-Gi-Oh: Nightmare Troubador (DS), Godfather CE (XB), Animal Crossing (DS), Worms Forts Under Siege (XB) and Valkryie: Lenneth (PSP) and earlier TRU games I don’t have yet. Please make fair trade suggestions.

I’m a still little PO’ed with TRU right now, though. I bought a copy of the Castlevania/Contra PC game pack that has Castlevania I – III, Contra & Super Contra on it there for $8 on Thursday night. The guy who rang me up was so concerned about me buying so many games that he rang the C/C game up twice by mistake. Now, I’ve got to decide whether I feel like going all the way back to that store just to get $8 back. I have a feeling when I get there, it will be his word again mine, but I guess I should wait too long or they’ll think I’m trying to commit return fraud or something…really ticks me off!

I've got extra copies of Grandia III if anyone needs one. I'd love to trade for Atelier Iris 2 or Steamboat Chonicles. I finally was able to check this out, but the TRU didn't even have a bunch of the games, and they were out of atelier iris. I did manage to get monster rancher evo, grandia III, and arc the lad though. I also found a la pucelle tactics at value city which was a nice surprise.

I didn’t have the opportunity to get to TRU until Saturday. I’d made a list of about 7 games but only managed to find one from my list. All the RPG’s had been grabbed up already, and I was really wanting Valkyrie Profile Lenneth. Anyway from my list I got Harry Potter GoF for GC. But I also went ahead and picked up Feel the Magic ($5.00!!).

They had a single copy of Phoenix Wright there for only $19.99. I know I had been re-released, but that was the first time I’d seen it anywhere since its release day. I’d passed on it then thinking, "I can get that for $20 down the road"….seems to have worked out that way after all.
