Doesn't surprise me. Everyone would like to think Nintendo has the best quality-control standards, but I don't think they really cared if Phillips made a crappy Zelda game or not. The Nintendo fanboys care about the integrity of the Zelda franchise, but like the guy being interviewed said, Nintendo probably thought of the CD-i as small potatoes and so didn't care.
I'm actually more surprised to see that there's a dedicated CD-i community. That's nifty.
No big surprise on the shitty budgets they had! Pretty creative use of getting backgrounds and overhead shots!

Zelda for the CD-i was a gay piece of crap. I saw the Intro movie on Youtube and it was so gay I laughed and laughed. It's more of a video GAYm then it is a video game. Just like Mario Hotel for the CD-i. Or Mario Motel, whatever they're both still gay.
