    Default C-64 Infocom Games

How collectable are C-64 Infocom games? The local SA by me has five Infocom games complete in the box (looks like they have all the stuff as well), but I'm not sure if they're worth picking up. Strangely two of them were in the standard Infocom boxes (Cutthroats and Ballyhoo), but three others were in gray C-64 boxes (Suspended, Deadline, and one other). Which box style is rarer?

As far as C64 disk games go, they're very collectible. But, of course, it's all relative.

I think the Infocom packaging is rarer.

Commodore themselves released 6 Infocom titles worldwide (as opposed to generally just going on sale in US and us having to import them! ). These were the three Zork games, Suspended, Deadline and Starcross. Generally the Infocom packaged games are collectable and will sell on eBay but you got to find the right buyers...

Well I went back and picked them up (I hid them in a microwave). I got Ballyhoo and Cutthroats in the original Infocom packaging and Suspended, Starcross, and Deadline in the C-64 Packaging. I also picked up Artic Fox because it was there and complete. They cost me .99 each so I think I did pretty well. I'll end up trading them all since I don't have a C-64.

Complete, with all the feelies? That can't be common!

As I recall, the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy came with Fluff, Peril-Sensitive Sunglasses, a Microscopic Space Fleet, a "Don't Panic!" button, and probably more...
