Last modern game you bought?
After the success of the DVD and CD threads in Off topic and the Finds thread in Retro I thought it was time to have one dealing with modern gaming.
For me it was King Kong, Kameo and RR 6 for the 360, gotta love buy 2 get 1 deals.
I should have added I got it for 30 Canadian.

On Jan 4th I bought my self a birthday gift with my Christmas money. I've always wanted to play Quake 4 (360) and the fact that a complete copy of Quake 2 comes with it kinda seals the deal.

So whenever there is a game at BB you wanna get, just grab the gift card and put $5 or whatever you want on it just so you can get the coupon. As I said in another thread, Dark Summit was actually free. The guy I bought Red Faction II just sent it along as a no-cost bonus. I wasn't expecting it and was quite surprised. And Red Faction II was pretty cheap as it was.

I finally bought that a few weeks ago on a whim, and it made for a pretty good impulse buy. The last modern game I bought was Twilight Princess for the GC, which I still haven't played.

DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou and Guitar Hero, both for the PS2...and they're both just friggin' GREAT. It's been quite a while since I enjoyed any game as much as I did with these two.
I bought Perfect Dark Zero, Rumble Roses XX, Amped 3, Enchanted Arms, and Quake 4 all on Boxing Day.
I believe the last recent game I bought was Sega Classics Collection. I've heard many people bash this collection, but I thought it was great. I loved the updated versions of Outrun, Virtua Racing, and Golden Axe. The other games weren't really greatly improved in my eyes, but it was well worth the $10 I spent on it.
I expect to buy many Playstation 2 games in the coming months. Can't wait to start bargian bin diving.
I bought Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the GC the day it came out, and a few days ago I bought Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. Both are quite awesome.
