Where do you get your games?
I am just getting back into the game after a few years off (marriage, kids, the usual story). I'm noticing that classic games/systems are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find now except on ebay and places like that. You can't find them anymore at yard sales or flea markets except the occasional flea market guy who has 54 copies of pacman and thinks they're worth $7 each.
Where are you guys finding your stuff?
Every game I bought for the NES (about 200) has come from my local pawn shops. I pay about 3-5 dollars Canadian for each. Sometimes for some reason they start selling them real low. The lowest I got was 10 cents each. They usually get new stuff every week so I havn't had any problems finding stuff.

about 95% of my games I found in "the wild" and I think I have somewhere between 2,500-3,000 so they are out there, just have to look.

I've found my NES games almost exclusively at garage sales...and never paid more than $2 for one (at yard sales, i mean). The thing is, they almost never have them out...guess they think that they wont sell.
Point being, dont hesitate to ask the owner if he has any video games available...works all the time :P

You can make good deals at flea markets but this does not happen too often. Often the item is overprized or it does not work (after i bought 3 Systems that did not work i stopped buying systems that i cannot test. Well i got a wet(!) Atari 2600 there, for free because i bought some dry games and the seller wanted to get rid of it and it even worked!

Second-hand stuff usually comes from pawn shops. Though I got a couple PlayStation games from EB. I've only bought one thing (Top Gear 3000 for SNES) privately.
Mostly at Funcoland/Gamestop. I'm also a pretty good vulture at Target, Best Buy, Meijer, & Biggs when they blow out the "old" games for the newer systems. Got Bond: AUF for GCN, only $7, a 2nd copy of Frequency for $9, NFL Blitz 2003 for Xbox, only $7.50, and Tetris Worlds for GCN for $8. Having a Target so close to work is great for these kinds of things.
I have purchased the majority of my games off of ebay. You do find the occasional good buy (which has built the majority of my collection).

It is a British outfit with a monster selection of most systems. As of right now they have 253 Saturn titles listed under new arrivals. Plus hundreds of "old" Saturn titles already in stock. Everything listed on their site is in stock as well and the condition of each item is meticulously listed.
I get a lot of my Japanese Saturn games from them, as well as the occassional European oddity. Shipping can be a bear but atleast there is no sales-tax(they list prices with(for Brits) and without(for us) sales-tax).
I got Prikura Daisakusen(Jap-Saturn very rare) from them a while back and it arrived exactly as described.
I get my NES games at Gamestop, ebay, and CGE 2002.
I hope to buy 1 or 2 more Sachen games at CGE 2003.

I got most of my games from Gamestop/Funco, and quite a bit from CGE itself. But now I know of 4Jays here in CA, so I be happy.
Pawn shops, thrift stores, and EB, but mostly just online.
