HDTV? Snore. Give me a VGA monitor any day.

Though it was certainly no slouch on my 14" set with component video, that's for sure.

Like others have said it doesn't look that bad, in fact, if you use component on an SDTV it still looks fantastic, and the text in Dead Rising is very readable.

Actually I'm surprised so many people here have HDTV, if I had to guess I would have thought that most people are using SDTV because whenever there is a thread asking about HDTV most people always say "I don't have it, and I won't till it gets cheaper." or "My 20" Zennith from 1978 is just fine, thank you."
Easy. Most people who have a 360 have bought it before the system's first price drop, which is my benchmark for early adopters. Early adopters tend to have more cash, therefore more 360 owners will have HDTVs

I was trying to argue that point to my buddy yesterday. For some reason, he completely disagreed with me. Want his phone number to argue our point?

SDTV with composite. Looks blurry and unspectacular.

That being said, I used to have it hooked up to my projector via component, running in 720p. It looked alright, but not amazing.

The graphical fidelity is way overhyped. While it looks crisp/very vibrant (colorwise) in HD, there's still some serious aliasing issues, framerate problems, and a lot of the character models look ugly. HD's clarity brings out a lot of the flaws in a game.

Still, watching a movie in 480p (zomg not even HD) w/ Dolby Digital = sex.
