Is there possibility a new gaming guide coming out for x-box, ps2, gamecube, and gameboy advance. That are similar to the other collectors guides?

"A Serpent Guard, a Horus Guard and a Setesh Guard meet on a neutral planet. It is a tense moment! The Serpent Guard's eyes glow, the Horus Guard's beak glistens, the Setesh Guard's nose drips!" Teal'c
If one came out tight now for games like PS2, GC, Xbox, almost all of the games would be R1-R3, with the occasional R5.
Its really just a waste to release a book on the stuff thats still in production. The books take a long time to make and get together and to have it be incorrect and out of date before it even hits the shelves isn't the best business plant to help try and 'sell' the book.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Just thought I'd ask a friend of mine that runs a independent game store was curious

And wants to sell games based on a price guide?Originally Posted by cmislin

no the price isn't really what he uses them for he uses it for a idea of what is all out there and rariety cause the price in one part of the us can vary greatly to another. so its basically a ballpark figure.

I'm curious what any of the people from digital press the writters or what not think about this idea I know it won't be soon at all cause they still are making games for them but in the future i wouldn't see why they wouldn't want to compile a list for newers systems

As long as we are collecting stuff, I think there will be enough demand and people to help make a rarity guide for newer systems. I wouldn't expect one anytime soon though.
I understand that for sure cause they are still making games for a lot of the newers systems like x-box and gamecube and ps2. SO the lists are incomplete. BUt atleast there is a interest in having more books done sometime.

And the new systems are being tracked. We've got numerous guide editors that are constantly adding PS2/Cube/XBox/GBA/DS/PSP games to their respective lists. They are viewable in the online guide (though some sections might not be super up to date considering that updates happen when someone sends in the stuff to Mr. DP and that might be weekly/monthly or even less than that), though none will have any real rarities to the games since they are all still so readily available.Originally Posted by cmislin

Gotcha I understand that its good to start the collecting of information ahead of time so that it can be as complete as possible. Yeah rariety won't matter till years and years from now.
