Yes, like that. Mine are not as detailed and I still need to get some stuff to really get started (also it's better to work on less detailed things at first, I really need to get used to the medium since I'm more of a painter). Mind you,the Amy one that's still in progress is my first one but I plan on making more and I'm curious if anyone would buy these things. Various gaming related things are available, and the more simpler the thing is the less expensive it will be.
Also my models wouldn't be shatter resistant polymer clay over a steel armature wire, like that one in the link. They would be just regular polymer clay, aka sculpey, super sculpey and the gray sculpey for extra fine details. On bigger models I'm going to do a steel armature wire base, with tin foil. I mostly use tin foil at this point and we'll se how my Amy will go. I'll attach a pic of the head. One more spike and I'll move on to the body and eventually fine details.
Oh, and the thing I'm making the head out of now is just regular sculpey which is cheaper and softer. When I move on to details I plan on purchasing some super sculpey.
