Default Help!Need one handed DS games!!!

My boyfriend broke his forearm and is going to the hospital for a couple(?) of days. As is tradition in my family, Im getting him a new game to play while he is recovering, and he recently got a DS.

But he can only use his left hand....

Please, what are some fun games that he can use primarily the Dpad and the touchscreen!!!!
    Vectors, pixels & polygons

Ouch!! I went through the same thing when I broke my collar bone. But my DS saved the day!

I managed to play Mario 64, but not very well. Phoenix Wright will work with just the stylus. Zookeeper too. I'm sure there's more, but I don't know that much about the DS library.

    Offhand, I can think of:
    Polarium
    Meteos
    Tetris (Touch Mode only)
    Nintendogs
    Feel the Magic
    Wario Ware Touched

Advance Wars can be played entirely stylus based.

I would recommend Phoenix Wright, if you can find it anywhere. There's no action, no need for quick movements, and you can use the stylus the entire time.

On top of that, it's a great game. It had me engrossed for weeks until I finished it.
Looking to buy: Galerians disc 2 (PSX) and The Unholy War case/manual (PSX). PM me!

Trauma Center would work also, though after needing to actually GO to a doctor, maybe it isn't a good Idea..... :/

Yoshi's Touch & Go is completely stylus controlled, IIRC.

Young lady, one handed games a young man may play while away at the hospital are not to be shared amoung real men. Spoken only in cofidence and passed down through the generations they are but a sacred rite and no shame should come from this. Once he has returned insist upon this. That he never return least he break the stylus.

Any game that can be played entirely with the stylus will be fine.

    Phoenix Wright is fantastic.

I believe Yoshi Touch and Go is also all-stylus. I haven't played it in a while, but it sounds right.

Um, Trauma Center is really fun, but challenging.

Nintendogs... a lot of people enjoy it, but I didn't really.

    Feel the Magic...

I guess all of the ones I can think of have already been said.

Animal Crossing can also be played with the stylus only.

Oh, I just remembered that Pac-Man game where you draw Pac-Man. Isn't that primarily a stylus game?

Wow, I read that post as meaning something entirely different than what it does. I feel horrible that the guy broke his arm, but this topic's pretty priceless

Yeah, Pac-Pix. Also, doesn't this belong in Modern Gaming?

Pac'n Roll would be a good choice. The only thing the d-pad is used for is rotating the camera left and right.

Monkey Ball can be played with no buttons whatsoever.

Also, Ford Racing 3 is an okay racer that lets you play completely with the stylus (left/right to steer, up/down for the pedals).

The GBA Phoenix Wright games were Japan-only. Being as text heavy as they are, I don't think they'd be too import friendly.

The best one-handed game is DOAX Vollerrr, I mean RPGs where you don't need reflexes or anything.

When I was a kid I burned my fingers on one hand, and learned to play Punch Out! with my left hand on my NES Advantage. I got to Soda Popinski, not bad huh?
