Default Gaming Tokens- Probably a stupid question.

If a person owns several arcade games and wants to switch them to work with tokens as opposed to quarters, how is that done?

Usually, it's just a matter of adjusting a screw or two on the coin mech. Open the door, insert coin, see what happens. Now insert token and see what doesn't quite happen. Adjust. That should do it.

depends on the coin mechs. old s10 mechs you can adjust by the screws like clubninja says, but the more modern mechs such as mars etc need to be recalibrated electronicaly.

I don't think this was a stupid question at all... I'm glad you asked it, 'cause I was curious about this as well.
