    Default WHOAness ....

    Excellent message, Red!
"Crystal Quest", "Scarab Of Ra" & "Captain Magneto" are all classic faves!

Here's a nice article about Ray Dunakin > "Ray Dunakin" Article
And here's his website where ya can download all of his games for free > "Ray's Maze"
    Enjoy!

The reason I didn't include color games is 'cause that's not the original form of boxmac games.

Not Macintosh, but I remember years ago checking out the Apple IIGS version of "Sword Of Sodan" and thinking the graphics were really nice. I almost bought one, but the lack of titles and the price of that computer just pushed me away.

    Nice game, that!

And whenever I think of boxmacs, I think of cool stuff like this ....
    1] "Lamprey Systems" SoftWare
    2] "SubGenius SoftWare FunHouse"

By the way, when searching for pictures of the games I was mentioning, I came across this French site that seems to be a tribute to Mac games. I really wish I spoke French:

    http://www.grenier-du-mac.net/

God, I love the Mac version of Lode Runner.

Indeed, Red -- "Mac Attic" [that's the translation] seems to be becoming the de facto source for classic APPLE "Macintosh" computer games since "Macintosh Garden" seems to be in it's death throes ....
And ya don't hafta speak French lol

    Click this > "Mac Attic"

All the game names are in English.
Just pick one, scroll to the bottom & click TELECHARGER -- that means "DownLoad".

Well sure, if I just want the games I can get them there. But I can't read the descriptions and some games have their French titles. And I'm sure there's more to the site than just games for download. Or maybe not, but I wouldn't know because I don't speak French.

When I think of Mac games one game comes to mind Myst.

I remember buying my first multimedia kit (sound card and single speed CDROM) for PC and having to wait for Myst to come out for PC. It was only released for MAC.
