Anyone know why these things are going for so much on eBay?

I see these going for $100 or so, and can't figure it out.

What is the retail price on these.

There's another thread about this, but to answer your question it was mysteriously discontinued. That's really all anyone knows...it may be reprinted, but only time will tell.
